Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4DON'T KNOW

Yo are you guys real I don't know I asked my friend and he thought my reader are fake/A.I at least leave a comment to let my know you real and to help me improve

The edge of two wooden blades hitting each other as two blondes fought inside a forest. The oldest of the two, Jeanne, for the first time in her lifetime, was at the receiving end of a brutal beatdown.

"This was supposed to be training, not an indiscriminate beatdown," she said with a heavy heave while struggling to push away the wood.

"The best teacher in this world—there is no better teacher than pain, although I can feel some mysterious presence aiding you. But relying too much on it would be your downfall if someone found a way to counteract it, which I still haven't found," he said while posing the match and pointing the wooden sword at her.

"Wait, you know about the voice? No, if you haven't found any weakness, then why am I in this state right now?"

"That is simple. I am faster. It doesn't matter if you could see the future; if you are not fast enough to react, then you are but a sitting duck."

"So then shouldn't you be helping me train my physical body?"

"Yes, I could have, but where is the fun? And besides, I have an ability that allows me to calculate and predict things, so by using it in this situation right now during intense [combat], I am able to calculate some things with more precision."

"Ah, so with that, you can create a special training for me, right?" she [asked].

"Yes."

"SO THEN WHEN WILL WE START?!" she said, trying to muster as much energy as she could.

So he was right. He had theorized that there was some force assisting her due to her having a weak but still present holy power/energy. In order to see the specifics of how it worked, he tried putting her in a stressful situation. By anime logic, she would awaken her power, and indeed she did.

Or was it manifesting in a different way? he had asked himself. Keeping that in mind, he activated one of his many abilities: predictive calculation and a self-created spell to calculate and predict everything within a 50-meter range. Doing so, he noticed the minute details that would have gone unnoticed by most.

The way she reacted—specifically when he started using predictive calculation—she started moving in an incoherent way, as if she was reacting to things that had not happened yet. Tested by thinking of his next move and preparing himself to enact it, she moved. She moved to perform an almost perfect counter, but there were gaps within the way she reacted, not in an instinctual, proactive way, but in a reactive way, as if she were hearing and seeing [things] that no one else could see.

And every time that this happened, the holy power within her swirled to about or at least twice the amount.

"Take a break now."

Telling this to her, he started to bend the winds around him, refracting the light in such a way that it made him invisible. He then took off. He then tried to teleport. He felt an immense pain rush through his body as he glitched in and out of reality. No, it seemed as if the world itself was reacting to his mere existence, similar to that of an infected body reacting to a virus.

As if being ejected by space-time into the dimension gap where his body lay surrounded by multiple layers of barriers, all shining with different colors so unreal that it seemed created from a dream, not far from where his body lay suspended was a Great, with a capital G, Red Dragon doing radical biker moves with its body; it was even making sounds.

Feeling pulled towards another space, this time to his original destination, with a soft thud he landed within the library of his house. And what he saw was a mess of books and [his] personal diary with [his] research and what not. Probably hearing the calamity that had just occurred within the family library, a maid entered the room.

Hmm, going by her shoulder-length blonde hair with soft curls that ended with a soft white color, and [she] wears a dark headband. Her eyes are golden-amber, [with a] curvy build. A fluffy, wolf-like tail extends behind her. Yes, that is definitely Roxanne, my personal servant.

Looking at the now-named Roxanne, who started to run away as soon as she opened the door as if she had seen a ghost, running away, her screams could be heard across the whole mansion. "The young master! The young master has disappeared!" she screamed.

"So I am guessing that she can't see me. I wonder if my family or a high-ranking devil could see [me]." With that, he started floating away from the spot, moving a few meters right in front of the library door. An invisible force started to pull on him.

Feeling this, he tried moving at a different angle to see if his movements were still restricted. Unsurprisingly, his movements were still restricted. He tried moving three-dimensionally, which had the same limit.

As he was examining his situation, even with the assistance of magic to no avail, finally, he started using his skills, which in turn made the barriers expand uncontrollably, creating layers until it stopped unexpectedly.

SORRY FOR THE CHAPTER BEING SHORT AND NEXT FEW CHAPTER WOULD BE FOCUSED OF JEANNE
