Alex held up a small envelope in his hand and waved it gently. "Grandma, I wrote a letter to Grandpa. He'll definitely see it."
Con was carrying three-year-old Lily, who had two little pigtails and was holding a drawing. "Alex brother, this is a picture Daddy and I drew together for you!"
After thanking them, Alex took the drawing. On the paper was a little boy wearing glasses pulling a suitcase, with the words "Alex brother going to university" written beside it.
"Is this me?" Alex asked, pointing at the little figure in confusion.
"Yes, it's Alex brother," Lily said proudly.
Alex carefully folded the crayon drawing and tucked it into his pocket.
Soon after, Archibald arrived with Maren, and the waiter quickly added two more seats.
He patted Alex on the shoulder. "Oxford University? Not bad. We'll be alumni from now on."
Alex looked up in surprise. "Uncle Archibald, you graduated from Oxford too?"
