"Isabelle, I'm treating you to a feast tonight!"
On the way, Zoe happily hugged Eve, "Why do you look so down? Did something happen? Is someone bullying you?"
Eve shook her head, "No, just a bit tired."
"Come on, cheer up! Tonight, we won't go home until we're drunk!"
Zoe seemed very happy; Eve was about to ask what was the good news when Wyatt explained, "She's about to go meet the parents with that guy."
Eve frowned at this, "Isn't it a bit too soon? You've known him for less than two months..."
Wyatt shook his head helplessly, "I said the same, but she won't listen. I've said what I needed to and tried to persuade her, so let it be. If she feels right about it, then it's alright."
Indeed, as friends, it's best not to meddle too much in others' affairs. Saying too much might feel like throwing cold water on their relationship.
"Speaking of which, you haven't officially introduced us to your guy. Are we no longer important now that you've found true love?"
