Eve Sherman lay in the room until the afternoon, while Stellan Sutton initially worked beside her.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
He glanced at the caller ID and immediately picked it up.
"Yes, this is... Stella? What happened to her? Alright, I understand. I'll bring her over this afternoon."
Stellan finished saying and hung up the phone.
Eve Sherman noticed his expression didn't look good and wondered if Stella had gotten into any trouble, so she quickly asked, "What's wrong? Is it about Stella?"
"There's a situation over by Ryan Aldridge's side that seems to involve Stella. They want her to go to the station."
Stellan maintained a stern face, then gave Eve a grave look, "Is it about the situation you told me about before? Could Stella really be so reckless?"
Eve paused for a moment before speaking, "She's still young. If something happens later, don't scold her. Even if she did something, by now she must know her mistake."
