"Did you catch a chill while you were out for a walk?"
Stellan Sutton asked with concern, ready to go downstairs to find some medicine for her as a precaution.
Eve Sherman instinctively grabbed his wrist, "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to find some medicine for you. You look uncomfortable. Just as a precaution, you should take some."
Eve Sherman shook her head, "No, I'm not feeling uncomfortable at all. I'm fine."
As she spoke, she instinctively touched her own face. It indeed felt very hot.
But, it wasn't because she was sick.
"Are you really feeling alright?"
Stellan Sutton frowned as he looked at her, "Your face is quite red."
"It might be from the wind."
Eve Sherman spoke hastily, rushing into the bathroom, and turned on the cold water to wash her face.
The heat on her face wouldn't dissipate, and her heart was pounding along with it.
It was truly strange today.
Whatever Stellan Sutton said, it felt like something suddenly struck her.
