Rugged Woman's voice suddenly cut through Zack's thoughts, waking him up from his trance. He jolted up from his memories and looked at Rugged Woman and a glaring Subordinate Woman standing in front of him. The present crashed back in, making him little confuse for few seconds.
"GAAHHHH!!!"
"Is it over? What about the others? Is everything ready?" Zack spoke while trying to avoid eye contact. His gaze darted sideways, looking anywhere but at their faces.
Rugged Woman smiled with knowing amusement. She sat beside him on the bench, close enough that her warmth pressed against his side. "Yeah, nearly finished. All the ladies went away dealing with their own stuff." She paused, her smile turning into something more playful. "So, who were you thinking about that made you smile so lovingly? Is there another woman in your life besides us?"
Rugged Woman smirked while grabbing his hand and placing it on her thigh. She positioned it carefully, making sure his fingers were only some inches away from her most intimate area.

"Ah, well…" Zack tried to speak, but his throat had gone dry. His fingers tensed against her leg.
Rugged Woman, hearing his hesitation, moved his hand closer against her thigh. His fingers getting deeper into her inner sides of thighs, she squeezed his hand slightly….

Rugged Woman patted his hand with reassurance. Zack calmed down slightly but suddenly his eyes shined as he got into the mood to tease back..… He thought for a while then made a sad smile and started speaking a make-up story about a woman from his school that he had a crush on, he said they were not in relationship but were quite close. She even comes to his house in regular basis to spend time with him. And whenever he felt down, she was there to cheer him up. As Zack spoke about a non-existent woman he couldn't help but think…... that his story girl is completely opposite to Nat. Zack shook his head and completed his story at a random end point.
Subordinate Woman listened to this and pouted angrily, her face scrunching up. "Humph! Boss has been with Princess for so long, yet you entertain another woman behind her back, without even telling her!!!!?????? You're so…dooo…..GRRRR BOSS!!! Is there any other woman in your life beside this surprised woman??? Are you hiding more Boss??"
Subordinate Woman's tone was harsh, not realizing her own position is kind off in similar situation.
"No, there isn't." Zack shook his head sadly after hearing her tone. The sharpness in her voice stung more than he wanted to admit, but not because of her words for him.... but him realizing how Nat should have felt when she heard him being so close to some girls she hasn't met before.
"Sigghhh...Her anger is justifiable...I have to say sorry when I go meet her, but what if she says to stay away from them?".... Zack looked at the two women standing in front of him, his mind rewinding these few days back and only thing he could feel while thinking about those memories is how he was so comfortable around them, "I think I did enjoy staying beside them"...Zack looked at their eyes and saw the frustration because of his make-up story but there was no sign of hatred or anything, these two women were looking at him…just at him. "I wonder how they would act if they were Princess??" Zack thought of this question as he made a sad face doing his best to act.
Rugged Woman glared at Subordinate Woman, who shrank back under the look. "Boss, don't worry. I understand….. Personally, the way Princess treats you, I'm surprised you still stayed with her. Other men would have run away long ago." Her voice took on a gentler quality. "And I know you just liked talking with your secret woman….. Don't worry, I won't judge you. I trust you, as always….. I know you have your own reasons, and I am pretty sure they must be good ones." She looked at him with complete sincerity. "THE PERSON I LOVE IS NOT A SHALLOW MAN, AND I KNOW YOU WILL NEVER HURT A LADY'S HEART. THAT'S WHY I LOVE YOU!"

Hearing Rugged Woman's words made his heart feel light, as if a weight had been lifted from his chest. He looked at her, really looked at her for several long seconds. His mind slowly went blank as he just stared at her. There was nothing in his head right now except her beautiful face and her words ringing in his ears like bells. He felt that after a very long time.... he just wanted to stay here in this moment. He didn't want to think about anything complicated or painful. He could just live here with her, in this simple peace where he can be free, where he can say whatever he wants, where he can do whatever he want, where he is allowed to make mistakes, where…. There is a girl who only looks at him....
"Ah, so this is what peace feels like."
Zack muttered the thought in his mind. He opened his mouth to say something to Rugged Woman, wanting to speak his inner feelings, wanting to speak his frustration from all these years, wanting to speak about his experiences….…. He didn't know why, but he felt that if he spoke to her, she would understand. She would take his side; she wouldn't offer him the same hollow advice others did. She would stand by him...he was sure of it.
He gulped, a quiet nervousness tightening in his throat as he tried to form the words. It was the first time Zack truly wanted to say everything. He had never shared it in detail with his sister or any of his friends, but with her, he felt an undeniable need to speak.

Subordinate woman spoke while pouting in anger, thinking about his secret woman in Zack life, it made her not see the moment he was having with Rugged woman, her desperation coming out a little harsh waking Zack up.
Zack frowned and turned around toward her. His expression hardened. "I never accepted her. She's a good friend of mine, and we care for each other. That's it."

"I… I…" The words failed him while thinking about whether he want to stretch this stupid lie.
"SEE!" Subordinate Woman's voice rose. "WHAT ABOUT US? DO YOU LIKE US?"
"I… calm down, please, I…" Zack tried to find the right words, but they kept slipping away.
"Boss, I kind of understand Princess's feelings…... I would also feel frustrated if my man doesn't speak his words clearly!" Subordinate Woman's hands clenched into fists. "If you don't want us, then say so! Why are you so nice to us if you don't want us? And if you like us, just say yes! What is the problem? I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!!... Asking Princess's permission is valid, but what if she says no? Then what? Are you going to suppress your feelings and just go with her? DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FEELINGS?"
Subordinate Woman spoke harshly, her voice getting louder with each word. She didn't know where she got the courage. Maybe her mind was spinning from all the dancing she had done. Maybe she just didn't like the smile he had while thinking about someone else entirely. She could not contain it anymore.
"Boss is so close to us yet it feels he is so apart. I can't do this anymore. I want boss to love me! Boss say it that you will choose me without approval of anyone else!!! And if you don't want me to live in your life then say it without getting influenced by others!"
Subordinate Woman's thoughts raced as she bit her lips hard enough to leave marks.
"AGH! Why is everyone making my head hurt? Can't I just live in peace? I don't know! What should I do? I…"
Zack's mind suddenly fractured. Voices erupted inside his skull like a chorus of demons.

Rugged Woman shook him out of his trance, her hands shaking his shoulders. Her face showed concern.
"AGH! My head!" Zack held his forehead in pain. His skull felt like it was splitting apart. The pressure behind his eyes made everything blur.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Rugged Woman held his hand worriedly, her fingers wrapping around his with care.
Zack took a moment and try to calm down, he has gotten used to the sudden headaches in these past few days so it takes him only a few minutes to revert back to his original state. After getting better, he took a deep breath and…
"Phewww....... I'm fine. Thank you for waking me up Rugged Woman." Zack gently released his hand from her grip and touched her cheeks with tender affection. His thumb brushed against her brown glowing skin.
"Boss, I… I… am sorry." Subordinate Woman, seeing Zack in pain, calmed down completely. She realized how rudely she had spoken. She stood in front of him with her head down, her fingers fidgeting constantly. Shame colored her face red.
Sigh.....
"You girls, come here." Zack pulled Subordinate Woman gently and let her sit beside him on his other side. He grabbed Rugged Woman's waist and pulled her closer to himself. His right hand gently patted Subordinate Woman's head with soft strokes. "I'm sorry for hiding about her, but can you listen to me without judging me for a bit?"
Zack asked, his voice sounded a lot vulnerable. Rugged Woman already nodded and placed her head on his shoulder. Her right hand rested on Zack's thigh, patting it gently signalling him that she will properly listen to him.
Subordinate Woman also nodded heavily, her whole hands moving with the panic gesture. "Sorry, boss…. I forgot for a second our own position, how we forcefully entered your life and made it much more difficult for you. After thinking for a bit... I think that woman is clearly like us, but she waited for you for so many years. I truly respect her for that. Boss I will hear whatever you have to say…Like Rugged woman said, I am sure you have your own reason and I want to respect that"
Subordinate Woman smiled as she looked at Zack, who nodded with appreciation.
"Yes, she is, and she has respected the boundaries set by me. I'm aware I have a problem for not speaking up when it matters the most….. I'm trying to come out of it. Just give me some time." Zack gently patted her head as he started talking about himself. He spoke about his thoughts, his relationship with Nat, and how much he had suffered all these years. He spoke about sad memories that still haunted him at night. He spoke about happy memories that kept him going. He spoke about many other things, things he had kept locked inside for too long...
The words poured out of him like water from a broken dam, while the women listened without interruption. They just held him and let him speak.
The sun finally went down the horizon as the night enveloped the City of Eirs. Stars began appearing in the sky above them. The celebration sounds had quieted to a gentle murmur in the background.

After hearing Zack talk for what felt like hours, the air between them had changed. Something had been released, some pressure valves have opened making their vibe a much more relaxed tone, as if they have been close friends for a very long time.
"Boss, sorry to say, but you're in a toxic relationship!" Rugged Woman spoke bluntly, her words cutting through any remaining illusions he may have for her.
Zack just laughed while nodding, this sounded bitter but he knew it from a while back, just….. he didn't want to accept it.
"I know." That all he could say right now.
"Boss, I think you love that woman with all your heart!! After hearing about your life, I know why you decided to get close to her. She was there for you whenever you were in tough situation and she supported you all these years…. Boss you hide her identity because you don't want to lose her…Boss you love her!!! " Subordinate Woman spoke softly, her voice carrying understanding now instead of anger.
"Hmmmmmm, oh, then what do you think, on what I think about you?" Zack asked while smirking. His hand moved down to her lower back, fingers pressing against the curve dip there.
"AAH!" She shivered from his touch, goosebumps rising on her skin. She didn't answer, because her mind was really a mess regarding Boss feelings on what he thinks about them. Maybe I am just scared, what if he really loves me???…. Subordinate woman shook her head completely throwing of that thought.
Zack just smiled and looked at Rugged Woman. "What do you think?"
"Hmmmmm…" Rugged Woman smiled with knowing look. She grabbed his hand and raised it up slowly. She kissed his palm with soft lips, letting them linger against his skin. "If boss never liked us, then he would never let us sit beside him…... I never doubted boss for a single second. You have been waiting to make your inner self untangle, and I'm sure when everything clears out, you will be mine to eat. Hehehehe."
Rugged Woman laughed seductively as she winked at him. Her tongue traced her bottom lip briefly.
Zack felt embarrassed as his penis got tighter inside his pants, pressing uncomfortably against the fabric. He looked away quickly and joked to cover his reaction. "But it looks like my Subordinate Woman doesn't trust me…... Sigghh… what a shame. She said I was just playing around with another woman behind Nat back. Sigghhh….I trusted her so much…"
"NO, BOSS! I TRUST YOU! I DIDN'T MEAN WHAT I SAID BEFORE!" Subordinate Woman swiftly looked at him, her face burning red. "I will never speak rudely to you! I AM SORRY!"
Her eyes were wide with panic; afraid she had ruined everything.
Zack and Rugged Woman looked at her and started laughing hard.
"Hahahahh! Boss, I think she's lying. She said what if Princess says no, then you will leave us? But Princess already said no, and we're sitting next to you... Boss, I think she didn't trust you." Rugged Woman smirked with playful cruelty.
"Yeah, yeah, she is. I'm so sad... Rugged Woman, you're the best." Zack pouted with exaggerated sadness. He brought his hand away from Subordinate Woman's lower back and put it on Rugged Woman's thighs instead. His fingers squeezed the tight flesh there. His left hand was already behind Rugged Woman's back, touching it intimately, tracing her hard muscles and feeling the muscle twitch in pleasure under his touch.

"Hahaha, she's so cute." Rugged Woman giggled hard watching her cute figure from behind.
Jane after going few steps away glanced back at Zack with teary eyes, not because of the teasing but because of what she heard….. After listening to him, she knew how hard it must have been for him, she imagined herself in place of him and immediately tears started rolling down. She ran inside the Queen palace and get inside a room then started thinking about Zack life. The more she thought the more she realized how much work he has been doing all his life... "Princess….I respect you and still believe in you that you will be good to Boss…..But if you don't then I will never forgive YOU!!!!…." Jane suddenly closed her fist and decided that she will become the best woman in Zack life, even if he don't accept her, she will live a life for her man, she will make sure that no other man gets to touch her body, she will make sure that she will never look down on him, she will make sure that…. her actions speaks louder than her words...…..

Outside Zack was enjoying seeing her run back inside. Then he looked at Rugged woman, who was smiling happily as she continued to look toward the door where Subordinate woman ran off to, unaware that Zack was watching her intently with a warm expression, his eyes fixed on her beautiful smile. After speaking everything, his heart suddenly felt much lighter. Despite everything... despite all the complexity and pain, this moment truly felt good. And it was all thanks to Rugged woman, who made him feel that he would not be judged by her. And truly, she never did; she accepted everything about him….. his pain, his love, his complaints, his anger, his everything.!!
He sat there with Rugged Woman pressed against his side, her warmth seeping into him. The night surrounded them with its quiet darkness. The celebration continued somewhere in the distance in the city, but here, in this small space, things felt clearer than they had in a long time.
Maybe he was still broken. Maybe he still didn't have all the answers. But at least now, he wasn't carrying it all alone....
