Chapter 66 - Chapter 66 Sword Five,

Chapter 66 Sword Five, Sending Guanyin Amidst the Snowstorm in the West.

The Serpent Spear Douluo stared at the bottomless ice cave before him, sensing the dangerous aura emanating from below. He hesitated, unwilling to rashly enter.

"Damn it, that brat escaped. If the Fourth Elder finds out, I'll be lucky to escape!"

Just as the Serpent Spear Douluo hesitated about whether to enter the ice cave to pursue Oscar, the Porcupine Douluo stormed back.

"Brother She Long, did you catch that brat?"

A hint of embarrassment flashed across the Serpent Spear Douluo's face, but he didn't hide anything: "No, he fell into this ice cave

. What about you? Did you catch the old poisoner's granddaughter?" The Porcupine Douluo's expression shifted incredulously. "Is it really such a coincidence? She also fell into the ice cave."

The two exchanged a glance, both seeing disbelief in each other's eyes.

  "No way!"

they exclaimed. They had thought they could at least capture an important figure to threaten Lan Minghua.

Unexpectedly, Oscar and Dugu Yan had fallen into the bottomless ice cave simultaneously in different places.

Both Serpent Spear Douluo and Porcupine Douluo knew the other wasn't lying, but they faced two choices.

First, continue into the bottomless ice cave to pursue Oscar and Dugu Yan.

Second, abandon the ice cave and instead track Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran. After

a moment's thought, Porcupine Douluo suggested, "The ice cave is bottomless; we might not find them even if we go down. Why not go find the other two? It'll save time and effort."

Serpent Spear Douluo nodded, "Okay, as long as we catch them, the Four Elders probably won't say anything."

The two exchanged a glance and ultimately decided to abandon the pursuit of Oscar and Dugu Yan, and instead search for Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran.

Lan Minghua wasn't too worried about this, after all, he had a backup plan with Oscar and the others.

What bothered him was that so much time had passed, and they still couldn't find any trace of the Mirror Beast.

"Something's not right, something's extremely wrong. With my current strength, my consciousness can easily cover the Frozen Forest; how can I not find it?"You'll never believe why I moved to… KarachiMeetSinglesYou'll never believe why I moved to… KarachiMeetSinglesLooking for someone in Karachi todaySingleflirtLooking for someone in Karachi todaySingleflirt

Suddenly, he remembered that Dugu Yan and Oscar had fallen into the ice cave.

Beneath the snow, his consciousness couldn't probe further.

"Could it be that the Mirror Shadow Beast is hiding underground?"

In an instant, Lan Minghua had a sudden realization.

He had been fixated on the surface of the Frozen Forest, neglecting what lay beneath the ice.

The Frozen Forest was perpetually cold, and the ice beneath was incredibly thick.

Many powerful ice-type spirit beasts hid beneath the ice, such as the Ice Jade Scorpion clan, the clan of the Ice Jade Emperor Scorpion, ranked seventh among the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts.

Spirit beasts like the Ice Crystal Snow Bear and the Howling Moon Wolf were merely relatively powerful prey in the Frozen Forest.

(Note: Personally, I feel that the far north of Douluo Continent II is roughly located within the Frozen Forest.)

Therefore, many powerful ice-type spirit beasts were likely hiding beneath the ice.

Lan Minghua smiled knowingly and decided to descend into the ice cave to see if he could encounter any ferocious beasts.

Immediately, his gaze fell upon the three auras, a mocking smile playing on his lips.

"Then, let's deal with you three annoying flies first."

Before the words were finished, Lan Minghua's figure had already disappeared from the spot.

At the same time, Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran concealed their auras and hid deep in the coniferous forest.

However, they were in the depths of the Frozen Forest, where there were still quite a few soul beasts, though not as many as in the Star Dou Great Forest.

Despite being very careful, they were still discovered by the soul beasts.

The two had just escaped the pursuit of the Serpent Spear Douluo and the Porcupine Douluo, and now they were being chased by soul beasts again.

This was truly a game of hunter and hunted.

When they were being chased by soul beasts at the same time, they inexplicably ended up together again.

However, the roars of the soul beasts attracted the attention of the Serpent Spear Douluo and the Porcupine Douluo.

The two instantly appeared in front of Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran, blocking their path.

"Found you!" The Serpent Spear Douluo sneered, his serpent spear pointing directly at Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran.

The Porcupine Douluo also revealed a cruel smile: "Just surrender obediently, or you'll suffer."     Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran stood back to back, their eyes filled with despair.

A Title Douluo blocked their path, and spirit beasts pursued them from behind.

At this moment, they truly faced a situation with no chance of survival.

"Senior Sister, Senior Brother and Junior Sister are nowhere to be found. Did they die at the hands of those two Title Douluos?" Meng Yiran asked with a bitter smile.

Zhu Zhuqing's eyes were resolute, the image of Oscar flashing through her mind. Her tone was firm: "No, they are definitely not dead. Master would never stand idly by."

Zhu Zhuqing knew Lan Minghua fairly well.

Although he had said he wouldn't intervene if they didn't meet his requirements,

she knew very well that Lan Minghua was just all bark and no bite, and was extremely devoted to his disciples.

Meng Yiran hadn't known him for long and didn't understand him well enough.

The Serpent Spear Douluo and the Porcupine Douluo, seeing Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran still unwilling to accept their fate, harbored a wicked thought.

Of course, this wicked thought wasn't about lusting after their bodies.

After all, these two old men weren't beasts driven by their lower bodies.

The so-called evil thought was merely to watch them have their arms and legs torn apart by the soul beasts, leaving

them crippled. Then, they would intervene at the last minute to save their lives.

  "Roar!!!"

The soul beasts of the Frozen Forest didn't think that far ahead. Faced with prey already within their grasp, they wouldn't easily give up, lunging straight at Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran.

Just at this critical moment, a sword aura descended from the sky, instantly slicing the soul beasts into pieces.

Blood splattered, but was instantly frozen into scarlet snowflakes, falling to the ground and staining it crimson.

Lan Minghua's figure slowly emerged from the snowstorm, finally standing before Zhu Zhuqing and Meng Yiran.

His gaze was calm, his tone indifferent: "My disciple is not someone that mere soul beasts can harm, nor is she someone that you two pieces of trash can harm."

In an instant, a powerful sword aura surged into the sky, centered on Lan Minghua.

In a flash, the blizzard in the high sky was torn to shreds by the sword aura.

Sword energy surged like a dragon, sweeping across the heavens and earth, seemingly cleaving the entire frozen forest in two.

The Serpent Spear Douluo and the Porcupine Douluo, sensing Lan Minghua's soul power and killing intent, paled, their eyes filled with terror.

"This sword energy! Even the Sword Douluo Chen Xin, known for his powerful attacks, is nothing but a greenhorn before him! No wonder he could force Yue Guan and Gui Mei into such a state!"

Yue Guan and Gui Mei were both members of the Elder Hall, so the elders naturally knew immediately.

It was important to know that Yue Guan and Gui Mei were considered the two strongest Title Douluos

in the Elder Hall. The Serpent Spear Douluo and the Porcupine Douluo were only ranked at the bottom.

Lan Minghua had no time to pay attention to their thoughts. He formed a sword-finger gesture in front of his chest, his sword energy surging around him, seemingly about to pierce the sky.

His figure appeared incredibly tall in the wind and snow, like a sword god descending to earth.

Seeing this, Serpent Spear Douluo and Porcupine Douluo fled towards Lion Douluo's location without looking back, shouting, "Fourth Elder, save me!"

Lan Minghua flicked his finger and softly chanted, "Sword Five, Sending Guanyin Through the Snowstorm to the West."

As his words fell, the snowstorm in the world suddenly stopped, as if time had frozen at that moment.

Immediately afterward, countless sword energies swept out like a storm, transforming into a gigantic sword shadow that shot straight into the sky.

Wherever the sword shadow passed, the snowstorm receded, leaving only that dazzling sword light in the world, as if it would cleave the entire world in two.

Serpent Spear Douluo and Porcupine Douluo felt the unparalleled sword energy and were filled with utter despair.

They fled with all their might, but the sword energy followed them like a shadow, as if it had already locked onto their aura.

  "Boom—!"

The sword energy fell, and the world fell silent.

The snowstorm swept in again, covering up all traces.
