Two figures were seen walking down the forest nearby. One was a definitive scholar, and the other one had a fiery dress that seemed to defy the current cold weather.
"What is the purpose of you calling me out here?" said Nelico, the grandmagus scholar. "I doubt it's about confessing one's feelings."
Layla chuckled, "Would that be interesting to you? I'm sure you would say no even if I asked you to be my man."
"Hahaha, you think I didn't know your background? You turned down a literal Hero. You think I would have a chance? I'm no fool," said Nelico as he fixed his spectacles. "Show me some respect."
"I love that aspect of you," Layla said, nodding. "Straight to business as usual."
Nelico furrowed his brows. "As much as I like idle chatter, I don't seem to see any ill intent from you, Escher. What is it that you want to gain out of me?"
"Just your time," said Layla. "I'm doing someone a favor."
