The Rosario Guild stood in the middle of a sprawling rose garden that seemed to stretch endlessly in every direction. Thousands of roses covered the land, their colors ranging from deep crimson to pale white, filling the air with a faint floral scent that somehow remained pleasant even beneath the dark sky hanging overhead. Yet there was something unsettling about the beauty. The garden was too vast, too quiet, and too perfectly maintained, as though every rose had been planted for a purpose.
At the very center of the garden stood a single building.
The guild hall rose several stories into the sky, its broad structure occupying a vast portion of the garden while still leaving rows upon rows of roses surrounding it. Tall towers and massive stone walls gave the building the appearance of something between a fortress and a cathedral. Its windows were narrow and high, while heavy gates stood at the front like the entrance to something that wasn't meant to be breached.
