Shyarly was startled and quickly waved her hands, insisting it was nothing.
Are you kidding me? This was a person truly favored by the Rules of the World; who was she to accept his apology!
"Your Majesty is welcome to rest here in my humble shop. I must go out for an urgent matter, please forgive my lack of hospitality!"
Though she knew it might displease Auguro, Shyarly honestly stated her need to leave and her inability to serve him personally. She had no choice.
She absolutely had to find Neptune and devise a plan to prevent a battle between Auguro and the Big Mom Pirates. Their tiny Fish-Man Island simply could not withstand a confrontation between two such colossal figures!
"It's no trouble at all," Auguro replied, finding no issue with her absence. After all, he was merely enjoying a trip and didn't require constant attendance.
With Auguro's permission, Shyarly rushed out the door and sped nonstop straight to the Ryuuguu Palace!
At the Palace, King Neptune was surprised when he heard Shyarly was requesting an audience. However, he held great respect for this unique individual who could foresee the future and immediately had her ushered in.
"Your Majesty! You absolutely must not host the Big Mom Pirates at the port!" Shyarly cried out, unable to contain her urgency the moment she entered the room.
Neptune's heart immediately sank. Judging by her demeanor, Shyarly had predicted a truly dire future!
"Shyarly, calm down! Take a breath and explain everything clearly!"
Shyarly quickly recounted everything she had seen and experienced. However, out of respect for the universal rules, she dared not mention that Auguro was heavily favored by them.
In an instant, Neptune felt his scalp prickle! The Big Mom Pirates were one thing—at least they only sent a representative.
But Auguro had come in person, bringing one of his Captains (Taichō)!
Everyone knew this was a formidable individual who could clash directly with a Marine Admiral at Marineford!
If these two forces came to blows, Neptune's heart nearly stopped just imagining the scene. It would be the end of them all!
Yet, despite his terror, Neptune remained seated motionlessly on his throne.
Shyarly grew desperate.
"Your Majesty, this concerns the very life and death of Fish-Man Island! Please, you must respond quickly!"
Neptune sighed helplessly. "It can't be helped! The Big Mom Pirates insist on being received at the port precisely so they can publicly replace Whitebeard's flag! They intend to use this act to proclaim their power and prestige, and they will absolutely not agree to any cancellation!"
"Then what about His Majesty Auguro?" A flicker of hope appeared in Shyarly's eyes.
Neptune gave her a strange look.
"What? Do you really think Fish-Man Island has the power to tell Lord Auguro what he can or cannot do?"
You think Captain Soi Fon standing beside him is just for show? Neptune was certain that if they dared to make demands of Auguro, the Shinigami could flip Fish-Man Island over before the Big Mom Pirates even arrived!
"Then what do we do?"
Shyarly slumped to the floor, her eyes vacant. It was that feeling again! The feeling of knowing everything yet being utterly powerless! What good was this prophetic ability if all it did was torture her?
Neptune pondered for a moment, then slowly said, "Perhaps... there is one way."
Shyarly's face lit up with surprise.
Neptune continued, "Ultimately, the goal is simply to prevent Lord Auguro and the Big Mom Pirates from meeting! Didn't you say Lord Auguro and his group are here to sightsee?"
"Then you must take them on a proper tour of other parts of Fish-Man Island. All we need to do is make sure they miss the flag-changing ceremony!"
Shyarly considered this. It was indeed a viable plan. But was she alone enough to hold the attention of such a major figure?
Especially one who was a Child of the Rules?
Neptune thought for a moment and added, "Here, I'll have Jimbei go with you! He is the hero of Fish-Man Island; his status should be sufficient!"
Shyarly finally nodded in agreement.
Jimbei, who was nearly home, was immediately tracked down by the Palace Guards and called back. After hearing the sequence of events, the Knight of the Sea felt completely overwhelmed.
Seriously, he thought, Fish-Man Island is just a small place; we simply don't have room for all you mighty figures!
However, since they were already here, kicking them out was impossible. Jimbei had no choice but to brace himself and accompany Shyarly back to the Mermaid Café.
Inside the café, Auguro was savoring Fish-Man Island's unique coffee. The coffee beans grown in the deep sea truly had a distinctive flavor, with a hint of the ocean in the aroma—a very unique sensation.
"Greetings, Your Majesty Auguro!" Jimbei bowed respectfully to Auguro.
"Oh, Jimbei! Long time no see!" Auguro greeted him with a smile.
Though the two didn't have much interaction, they had met briefly during the Summit War. In his previous life, Auguro had always held a high regard for the loyal and righteous Fish-Man leader.
Jimbei wasn't sure why Auguro was being so exceptionally cordial, but it was certainly a good thing. It suggested the other party held no malice toward Fish-Man Island.
Slightly relieved, Jimbei smiled.
"King Neptune learned of Your Majesty's arrival and specially sent me here to introduce you to the wonderful sights of our Fish-Man Island!"
"The King also asked me to convey his apologies. Due to pressing state affairs, he cannot come in person, and he begs Your Majesty's forgiveness!"
With this carefully phrased speech, Jimbei adopted an extremely humble posture. Auguro didn't mind in the first place, but even if he were angry, such courtesy would make it impossible to vent his frustration.
Auguro waved off the apology, ready to continue his tour of Fish-Man Island. Jimbei and Shyarly volunteered as guides, taking him to many famous scenic spots. Following Neptune's instructions, they subtly steered Auguro away from the port.
They arrived at the Mermaid Cove. Despite being in the deep sea, the area allowed them to see the sunlight, blue sky, and white clouds, and it was a gathering place for the merfolk. Here, a group of beautiful mermaids were playing and frolicking, a scene exactly like something out of a fairy tale.
Auguro's eyes were filled with awe, but the faces of Soi Fon and the other ladies faintly revealed a trace of hostility. The reason was simple: these mermaids had truly magnificent figures and beauty!
Coupled with the fairy-tale mystique of being merfolk, it was a rare man who could resist their charm.
He's completely mesmerized!
That fathead Jimbei clearly had ulterior motives!
The women glared fiercely at Jimbei. Jimbei felt a chill run down his spine and was utterly bewildered.
The honest man was simply carrying out Neptune's orders, guiding Auguro away from the port and showing him the sights. Heaven was his witness; he truly harbored no other intentions!
The women were slightly appeased, however, as Auguro merely enjoyed the view and did not attempt to engage the mermaids any further.
After all, his real purpose for coming here was to bring Fish-Man Island under his banner. It wouldn't look very good if he immediately plunged into a nest of beauties upon arrival.
