"Heh… Hahahaha…" Hody Jones first let out a small chuckle, then burst into hearty laughter.
"Destroy the Fish-Man District? With those fools who bow to humans?"
"That Jimbei, he should have been on our side! He is a traitor who betrayed Big Brother Tiger!"
All the inhabitants of the Fish-Man District styled themselves as the successors to Fisher Tiger.
In reality, not one of them possessed Tiger's magnanimity or vision. Both Arlong and Hody Jones were just using that name to glorify themselves.
"Go! Let's go see where Jimbei got the nerve to say he's going to destroy the Fish-Man District!" Hody Jones stood up, instructing Daruma to bring the Energy Steroids (E.S.) along.
This was his ultimate trump card! If Jimbei truly decided to fight without regard for their past acquaintance, Hody intended to use the pills to teach him a profound lesson!
At the entrance to the Fish-Man District, Jimbei stood at the front, followed by the most elite of the Sea King Army (Kai-ō Gun). These soldiers usually guarded King Neptune!
Neptune had specifically dispatched this elite force to demonstrate his commitment to Auguro.
"Jimbei! I hear you intend to destroy the Fish-Man District? This is Big Brother Tiger's home! Who gave you the audacity?" Hody Jones swaggered out with an arrogant stride. He didn't spare a glance for Jimbei or the thousands of Sea King Army soldiers.
"Hody Jones! Surrender! The Fish-Man District should have ceased to exist long ago! If Big Brother Tiger were still alive, he would agree with me!" Jimbei had prepared himself mentally on the way here. Facing Hody Jones's challenge, Jimbei showed no hesitation and even tried to persuade him to yield.
"Hahaha! Jimbei! After all these years, you've finally submitted to the humans and decided to attack your own countrymen!"
"You human lapdog! You will never receive the recognition of all Fish-Men!"
Following Hody Jones's shout, many Fish-Men poked their heads out from inside the Fish-Man District, looking hostilely at Jimbei and the Sea King Army.
It had to be said that Hody Jones wasn't completely brainless! His words successfully ignited the hatred and fury of the Fish-Man District's populace. If Jimbei chose to attack now, the cost would multiply many times over!
"This scum!" Jimbei saw through Hody Jones's malicious intent and felt a surge of anger. If he proceeded, the Fish-Man District would surely become a river of blood!
"Jimbei! That's why I said the Fish-Man District must be dealt with as quickly as possible! Otherwise, in a few years, you might not even have the ability to handle it!"
At that moment, a calm voice drifted over from within the Sea King Army. Auguro, encased in an air bubble, emerged from the rear. Since the Fish-Man District was entirely underwater, the bubble was necessary.
"A human!" Hody Jones's face immediately contorted into a snarl, as if a switch had been flipped.
"Bringing a human here! Jimbei, you traitors really have become running dogs for humanity!" Instantly, the eyes of everyone in the Fish-Man District turned frigid toward Jimbei and his forces.
"Heh." Auguro let out a mocking laugh, his face filled with contempt as he looked at Hody Jones.
"Fish-Man Island is willing to coexist peacefully with humans, and we are naturally happy to do so!"
"Only a coward like you, who is terrified of humanity deep down, constantly resorts to insults like 'running dog'!"
"You're talking nonsense!" Hody Jones roared, as if his sore spot had been exposed.
"We Fish-Men are the inherently noble race chosen by the heavens! Why would we fear contemptible humans like you!"
Hearing this, Auguro shook his head with a smile. He's told the lie so many times he's started to believe it himself!
He spoke slowly, "Since you consider yourselves noble, why is your first reaction that Jimbei has become a human's running dog, rather than that humans are following his orders?"
The single sentence immediately pierced Hody Jones's facade. Auguro sneered, "The first reaction never lies! In your subconscious, all of you still believe that humanity is the stronger force! Isn't that right?"
With his shame brutally exposed, Hody Jones instantly erupted in fury.
"You damned human! You only talk nonsense! Once I take back Fish-Man Island from Neptune, I will lead my men to invade the surface!"
"Humans only deserve to be slaves and servants to us Fish-Men!"
Jimbei and the Sea King Army were aghast. This Hody Jones was planning a coup d'état!
Any lingering guilt Jimbei felt towards the Fish-Man District immediately vanished. They are openly planning a revolt, so the Fish-Man District absolutely cannot be allowed to stand!
No one can stop me! Jimbei declared internally.
"Sea King Army! Arrest all these rebels who plot mutiny!"
At Jimbei's command, the Sea King Army charged towards Hody Jones and his crew. Hody Jones was secretly annoyed that he had let the plot slip. They hadn't fully prepared for the revolt yet.
"Damn it! Since we've been discovered, we'll start the revolution early!" Hody Jones glared fiercely at Jimbei. As long as he took down Jimbei, the Sea King Army would be nothing more than a disorganized mob!
"Jimbei, let me be the first to show you the true power of our secret treasure!" A look of madness crossed Hody Jones's face as he grabbed several capsules of Energy Steroids and swallowed them whole.
"What is that?" Jimbei hadn't seen the E.S. pills before, but a bad feeling surged in his heart.
As the E.S. took effect, Hody Jones's physique expanded by a third; his entire body seemed to have been reborn!
"Jimbei, you claim to be the strongest Fish-Man! Let me test your mettle!"
Thud!
Hody Jones kicked off the ground, launching himself like a cannonball and generating a powerful wave of water.
"So fast!" Jimbei was shocked. This power was already comparable to a pirate with a bounty over a hundred million!
Hody Jones had some strength, but he couldn't possibly be this powerful naturally!
"Is it those pills?" Jimbei realized instantly that Hody Jones was relying on the power of drugs!
"Hody Jones! Where did you get those pills?"
Hody Jones laughed triumphantly.
"We have your King Neptune to thank! For keeping this secret treasure in the vault!"
"He only knows how to hoard it and waste its potential! But I will use it to bring Fish-Men back to the top of the world!"
"Jimbei, watch closely! This is the true power of us Fish-Men!"
"Fish-Man Karate: Ocean Drum!"
Hody Jones punched fiercely. The surrounding seawater was violently compressed, and a terrifying shockwave barreled towards Jimbei! Feeling the monstrous disturbance in the water, Jimbei's heart tightened, and he immediately counterattacked.
"Fish-Man Karate: Shark-Skin Fist!"
Mobilizing all his strength, Jimbei launched a powerful straight punch into the furiously approaching wave!

The churning water, carrying enormous energy, scattered outwards, causing the ground to tremble slightly.
