"Yahoo! Let this hero teach you losers a lesson!"
Upgrade was beyond excited. He turned into a pool of liquid metal and slipped into one of the Sumo Robots.
In an instant, the Sumo Robot's exterior took on a black-and-green sheen as Upgrade seized complete control of it.
"Haha, game time!" Upgrade-controlled robot swung its iron fists and smashed into the surrounding robots.
Before the other robots could even react, two of them were already taken out.
The Sumo Robots quickly launched a counterattack, baring their fangs and claws as they closed in on the Upgrade-controlled robot from all sides.
Without a trace of fear, it charged straight into the crowd and started brawling hand-to-hand with the mass of robots.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
In front of Upgrade, those Sumo Robots were like eggs thrown against a rock. Not only could they not hurt him, they were beaten into a total rout instead.
"Ah! Get away!" Gwen saw a Sumo Robot charging at her and hurriedly tried to use magic.
But there wasn't even the slightest response.
Her magic had failed!
As the robot's fist drew closer and closer, Gwen even forgot to breathe.

A dark figure rushed in from the side and kicked the Sumo Robot away.
Lucian stood there in silver armor, a magnificent cloak snapping in the wind. His posture was straight and steady, his back to Gwen.
Gwen froze for a moment, then realized Lucian had saved her.
"Thanks, Cuz."
Lucian waved a hand. "Right now, the most important thing is dealing with these robots first."
There was nothing he could do about Ben. Upgrade had already gone completely wild and wasn't listening to a word he said.
But thinking about it carefully, it was understandable.
If one day he were to transmigrate into the world of his favorite game and see its characters in person, he might be just as excited and happy as Ben was now.
At that moment, more and more Sumo Robots began surrounding them.
Lucian sprang up onto one of the Sumo Robots, clenched his fist, and slammed it down hard.
Boom!
The sheer force instantly punched a hole through the Sumo Robot's head, crackling currents of electricity spilling out.
One more punch finished it off for good.
Lucian flexed his fingers. It seemed that entering the game world had enhanced some of his physical abilities.
His strength, speed, and defense had all improved. At the very least, he wouldn't be completely helpless against the villains here.
Gwen snapped out of her shock and joined the fight as well.
With the karate she had practiced for years, she was able to go toe-to-toe with the robots.
"Hahaha! See how awesome I am now?" After taking down a whole group of robots, Upgrade planted his hands on his hips, looking thoroughly pleased with himself.
Whoosh!
At that moment, a bull robot descended from the sky. Its terrifying weight made the entire village tremble.
Lucian noticed it too.
It had sharp horns, blood-red metal skin, a broad, powerful frame, and bull-like eyes blazing with dazzling golden light.
The moment it landed, its body shifted rapidly.
In just a few breaths, it entered battle mode!
The whole bull rose upright, gripping a blood-red battle axe. It stood at least ten meters tall, its metallic muscles bulging, giving off an incredibly terrifying presence.
"It's the Blood Bull!" Gwen's pupils shrank sharply. "Ben, take it down, quick!"
This character was no joke. Its attack and defense were both absurdly high, hundreds of times stronger than the Sumo Robots.
Upgrade burst out laughing. "Relax. With me here, what's there to worry about?"
But the moment he finished speaking, a harsh sound rang out.
Beep! Beep!
The Omnitrix on Upgrade's chest suddenly began flashing, then burst with crimson light.
Ben, dressed in yellow armor, stared blankly at his own hands.
"Oh, man. You stupid broken watch, whose side are you on anyway?"
"Ben, run!" Gwen shouted in panic.
"Roar!!"
The Blood Bull moved.
Its huge, towering body charged forward with the blood-red battle axe in hand, sweeping aside anything in its way with overwhelming force.
Ben ran, and the Blood Bull chased.
It chased, he fled, and there was no way he was getting away.
"Ah! Help! Help me!" Ben screamed at the top of his lungs.
Lucian stood not far away, watching Ben get chased around by the Blood Bull, a wry smile tugging at his lips.
If this was how it was going to end, then why mess around in the first place?
If Ben had just obediently used Upgrade to take them back to the real world, none of this would've happened.
But things had already reached this point, and saying more was useless.
First, he had to deal with the Blood Bull in front of him.
Bare-handed combat probably wouldn't work. The Blood Bull's defense was ridiculously tough, like a moving tank. It could even smash through thick metal walls.
If he got close recklessly, not only would he fail to hurt it, he might get taken out instantly.
It felt like playing against a Dian Wei who crits point-blank while wearing Thornmail.
There was just no way to fight that!
"If fists won't work..." Lucian swept his gaze around, looking for some kind of weapon he could use.
Suddenly, a wooden box on top of a tower in the distance caught his eye.
It was a rectangular wooden box, faintly glowing white.
Lucian had never played Sumo Slammers, so he had no idea what it was. He immediately looked at Gwen. "Gwen, what's that?"
Following the direction he pointed, Gwen saw the wooden box atop the tower, and her face lit up.
"That's a Treasure Chest! Open it and you might get battle equipment!"
Lucian instantly understood.
So it was a Treasure Chest. No wonder it looked so familiar. The original story seemed to have that too.
He leaped from place to place like an agile cheetah and reached the top of the tower in the blink of an eye.
Boom!
With one punch, he smashed open the Treasure Chest.
Two items floated in midair.
A sharp blade, and a slip of paper.
Lucian reached out and grabbed the blade.
"Sumo Slammers Sword!"
Attack +1000!
Speed +500!
Defense +500!
"Ah! Cuz, save me!!" Ben shouted. He had already run out of road.
Lucian looked down and saw that the Blood Bull had driven Ben into a corner and was now raising its battle axe, ready to bring it down.
Ben still had two lives left, but there was no reason to waste them if he didn't have to.
With the sword in hand, Lucian leaped into the air and came slashing down from the tower, cutting straight at the Blood Bull below.
The terrifying momentum, combined with Lucian's strength and the sword's sharp edge, drove the strike viciously toward the Blood Bull's neck.
The Blood Bull's head suddenly twisted around, turning a full three hundred sixty degrees. Its murderous golden eyes locked onto Lucian.
Not good.
In the next second, the Blood Bull raised a hand. A cannon barrel emerged from its palm and fired a surge of red laser light.
Lucian swung the sword frantically, blocking every attack, then flipped twice in midair before landing steadily on the ground.
"Roar!" By then, the Blood Bull had already charged at Lucian, abandoning Ben.
It could tell that Lucian was the greater threat.
Of course, Lucian and Ben's stats had originally been about the same, but the boost from the Sumo Slammers Sword was just too overwhelming.
As the enraged Blood Bull came charging toward him, its sharp horns glinted with a chilling light beneath the blazing sun.
