Boom!
Two surging streams of electricity slammed into each other, erupting with the force of a tidal wave.
One was blue-white. The other was deep purple.
They were like two savage thunder dragons tearing into and devouring each other, neither willing to give an inch.
"The Corrodium plan is almost complete. Heh. Earth is finished," Dr. Viktor said with a cold laugh.
"Really? If I'm not mistaken, as long as the Corrodium beam is cut off, even if every human on Earth mutates, they'll return to normal after a while," Feedback said calmly.
Dr. Viktor's expression stiffened, and a flicker of surprise crossed his violet eyes.
He had not expected the other side to know that secret.
But...
"As long as I kill you, no one will be left to stop us," Dr. Viktor snarled, pouring in even more power.
But his electricity was insignificant in front of Feedback.
Feedback raised his output as well.
The raging blue-white current suddenly swelled as thick as a towering tree, instantly shattering Dr. Viktor's beam. Then, without losing any momentum, it surged forward like a flood of lightning and swallowed Dr. Viktor whole.
"Aaagh!"
Dr. Viktor's face twisted in extreme agony, his whole body crackling violently.
But as an electricity-based alien, his resistance to electric attacks was fairly strong. It hurt him badly, but it was not enough to kill him.
Crackle...
When the light faded, Dr. Viktor's battered body came back into view.

Feedback shot forward in a single burst and punched Dr. Viktor to the ground.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
A storm of punches rained down on Dr. Viktor's face, leaving him dizzy, disoriented, and bleeding from every orifice.
Suddenly, Dr. Viktor grabbed Feedback's fist.
"Roar!"
With an enraged howl, Dr. Viktor unleashed his brute strength and hurled Feedback away.
Feedback flipped twice in midair and landed steadily on the ground.
"Die!!"
Dr. Viktor had completely lost his mind. His swollen, bruised face was filled with madness and fury.
He brought both hands in front of his chest and frantically condensed energy. Purple lightning coiled around his hands like living serpents.
In the blink of an eye, it formed into a massive sphere of purple electricity, radiating terrifying pressure.
This move drew on every bit of energy in Dr. Viktor's body.
It was his final desperate counterattack.
"Now that's more like it." Instead of panicking, Feedback looked delighted.
Buzz.
The giant purple lightning sphere, dozens of meters wide and packed with devastating energy, came crashing down on Feedback.
Feedback slowly stretched out both hands and pressed them against the raging sphere. The yellow plugs on his fingertips frantically drained the energy inside.
The savage purple lightning sphere visibly began to shrink.
In just a few seconds, Feedback absorbed all of it.
Not even a trace remained.
"This... how is this possible..."
Dr. Viktor collapsed weakly to the floor. At that point, he had already exhausted every last bit of strength in his body.
"Here. Take it back." Feedback grinned and reflected Dr. Viktor's own attack back at him.
A blue lightning beam like a pillar holding up the heavens, wrapped in spiraling waves of light, tore through the air and slammed into Dr. Viktor's body.
Dr. Viktor, the mighty Frankenstrike, fell then and there.
[Successfully killed Dr. Viktor.]
[New Hero unlocked: Frankenstrike.]
Frankenstrike had the same transformed body as Dr. Viktor, a muscular physique and terrifying electrical power.
Beep.
A crisp chime came from the nearby computer.
Feedback turned to look.
The screen showed that the spaceship carrying the mummy was already close to the space station.
[Alien Hacker mission triggered.]
[Stop the mummy and save all life on Earth.]
[Upon successful completion, unlock a random powerful hero.]
"A powerful hero?"
A gleam flashed in Feedback's eyes.
What kind of powerful hero would it be this time?
"Forget it. I'll get up there first."
Feedback ran out of the main control room and found a battered old spaceship.
Most of its parts had already been stripped away. Under normal circumstances, there was no way it could still fly.
Of course, that was not enough to stump Lucian.
Feedback tapped the Omnitrix on his chest and instantly transformed into Upgrade.
His body was black and green, soft and pliable, like a humanoid marshmallow.
As a cybernetic organism, Upgrade could attach himself to machinery, then modify and rebuild it to bring out even greater performance.
Soon, Upgrade merged with the wrecked spaceship.
Boom. Boom.
A black-and-green high-tech spacecraft shot into the sky in an instant, blasting out blazing green tail flames as it smashed through NASA's roof and flew straight into the boundless universe.
With Upgrade controlling it, the ship had already broken the sound barrier by the time it pierced through the atmosphere.
Whoosh.

A little over ten minutes later, the mummy's ship had already reached the space station.
Just as he was about to place the Corrodium into the transfer channel, the hull around him rapidly turned black and green.
The mummy froze for a moment, not even reacting in time.
Then suddenly, a fist grew out from under his feet and blasted him away, smashing him into the wall.
"I'm suddenly starting to feel like I'm even worse than the bad guys..."
At the center of the ship, Upgrade stuck out his little head, the green circle on it glowing brightly.
The mummy pulled himself up from the ground and let out a shrill howl.
"Oh, you're even bigger than the last mummy," Upgrade said casually.
This mummy was entirely golden, taller than the last one, and even uglier and more terrifying.
The mummy shot out golden bandages, trying to wrap them around Upgrade's head.
No way was Upgrade going to let that happen. He quickly retracted, then popped out somewhere else and punched the mummy to the ground again.
Zap!
Green energy beams shot out from Upgrade's eyes, repeatedly washing over the mummy's body.
But Upgrade's energy attacks were still a bit too weak. Against a mummy with an undead nature, it was hard to kill him outright.
Upgrade quickly gathered together and formed a humanoid shape on the ground.
Thud!
A flash of ghostly green light burst out, and Upgrade transformed again.
"Snakepit!"
A strange-looking three-headed snake appeared, about two meters tall and standing upright on two legs. Its eyes were like lightbulbs, faintly crackling with electricity.
This was the random scrapped hero he had obtained last time, when Atomix wiped out the baseball team in one shot.
