A dense hail of bullets merged into a storm of steel, firing at full force as they tore through the air and shot straight toward Snow White.
Snow White raised a hand and condensed a blue quantum light shield.

The powerful energy field blocked every bullet.
Countless bullets fell to the ground like popping beans.
Snow White fired backhandedly, launching a silver shell from her wrist, trailing a fiery red tail as it blasted toward the mechanical beast.
The mechanical beast's huge body suddenly sprang up. After dodging the shell, it came crashing straight down on Snow White like a towering mountain.
"What a pain."
Flames burst from Snow White's back, generating tremendous thrust as she instantly dodged to the side.
Boom!
The mechanical beast's heavy body slammed into the ground, kicking up dirt and shattered stone everywhere.
One sharp rock flew straight toward Grandpa Max.
Snow White raised her machine gun, about to intercept it.
A purple gleam flashed through Xylene's eyes. Dense violet energy wrapped around the stone, and with a sharp wave, she flung it back at the mechanical beast.
"Max, are you alright?"
Xylene floated through the air and came to Grandpa Max's side, her eyes full of concern.
"I'm fine." Grandpa Max smiled. "But that was close. Good thing you were here."
"This mechanical beast absorbed your Plumber equipment. It's not easy to deal with." Xylene shook her head.
"Don't worry. Lucian still hasn't gotten serious yet," Grandpa Max said calmly.
"That's strange. Why are you so confident?" Xylene tilted her head, not understanding.
She really could not see what was so special about Lucian.
"Roar! You damn metal freak, I'm gonna tear you apart!"
Four Arms came charging over, covered in dirt.
He had been careless for a moment earlier, taken a hit from the mechanical beast, and crashed through several large trees before finally stopping.
But before Four Arms could even get close, a tough tentacle sent him flying sideways.
The mechanical beast's eyes flashed red, firing crimson lasers that followed up and blasted Four Arms down again.
Snow White raised a hand and aimed at the mechanical beast. Two silver machine guns extended out, and she opened fire wildly.
Rat-tat-tat!
Countless golden muzzle flashes erupted from the barrels.
The fierce barrage left dense black bullet holes all over the mechanical beast's body.
In the blink of an eye, it was riddled like a hornet's nest.
The mechanical beast stretched out a claw, still trying to launch one last attack.
But Snow White finished it off with a single heavy shell.
"Awesome! Cuz won again!" Gwen cheered happily.
"Oh, man, I hadn't even gotten warmed up yet." Four Arms scratched his head.
Xylene stared in shock. That powerful mechanical monster had just been destroyed like that?
"Xylene, I told you so." Grandpa Max gave a gentle smile. "Lucian could definitely handle it."
"Yeah, I misjudged him." Xylene nodded.
Inside the cockpit, Snow White looked at her own hands. "I didn't expect this mecha to be this strong!"
Not even one of Vilgax's robots, enhanced with Plumber gear, could beat it.
After destroying the mechanical beast, Lucian recalled Snow White, turning it back into a necklace.
Then he transformed into Upgrade and repaired the Rustbucket.
Xylene took out a signal device and pressed the red button.
"Max, a ship will be here to pick me up soon. Come with me."
"Vilgax is gone. Earth doesn't need you anymore, and I... I really need your help."
Grandpa Max scratched his head, looking a little embarrassed. "Heh, that really is a tempting invitation."
"You don't want to come with me, do you?"
"The universe may be vast beyond measure, but right now, they are my whole world." Grandpa Max looked at Lucian and the other two.
"Alright then." Xylene looked a little sad.
She lowered her head, clenched her fists slightly, took a deep breath as if gathering all her courage, then stepped forward, grabbed Grandpa Max's head, and kissed him hard.
"Ugh, super gross!" Ben covered his eyes.
"Eww!" Gwen could not take it either.
Lucian only smiled faintly. He did not feel much about it.
After a while, a spaceship landed on the grass ahead.
Xylene boarded alone.
She turned back, reluctant to leave. "No matter what, Roswell will always be there."
At last, the spaceship shot through the clouds and vanished into the dark universe.
