Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Transcendence of theBLackstar

Silence.

That was all that remained when the void folded back into reality.

Arin's body hovered above a shattered layer of the atmosphere, half-bathed in sunlight, half-lost in darkness.

His aura no longer raged. It flowed.

What once was chaos now felt like rhythm — a steady pulse echoing with the heartbeat of the cosmos itself.

> [System Online]

[Core Status: Stable]

[Mode: Blackstar Ascendant — 37% Synchronization]

[Warning: Dimensional fractures detected across Earth.]

Arin looked down.

The planet shimmered strangely. It wasn't the world he remembered — small distortions danced across its surface like cracks in glass, faint, but visible to his new eyes.

"The Archon's power… it left a scar."

He could see the corruption — threads of silver and black energy rooted in the planet's core, spreading like veins through reality itself.

Each one pulsed faintly, releasing waves of unstable Qi.

And in that distortion, he sensed something else.

Life.

Thousands — no, millions — of signatures mutating under the residual energy.

> [Alert: Ambient Ki mutation confirmed. Estimated contamination: 9.7% global.]

[Warning: Several high-energy signatures detected — formerly Saiyan.]

Arin's expression darkened.

"...Goku. Vegeta."

He clenched his metallic hand, and space folded around him as he vanished.

---

[West Continent – Former Capsule Corp Training Zone]

The once-vibrant plains were now silent wastelands. The grass was blackened and glass-like, fused under immense heat.

Lightning arcs flickered through the air with no clouds above — reality spasms caused by the Core's lingering energy.

And at the center stood a figure.

Tall. Familiar. But wrong.

Goku — or what had once been Goku — stood still, his skin faintly glowing with a faint silver pattern. His hair was white at the edges, his aura sharp, violent, unstable.

Vegeta lay unconscious nearby, his armor shattered, chest rising and falling shallowly.

When Arin appeared, the air trembled.

"Goku…" he called softly.

The figure turned — eyes hollow, glowing faint silver, no pupils.

> "...Arin."

The voice was monotone. Like a recording.

> "The Archon's will… persists."

Then, the world cracked.

Goku's aura exploded outward, a sphere of energy that disintegrated the land for miles. The shockwave nearly threw Arin off-balance.

This wasn't just Goku powered up — this was Goku rewritten.

> [Warning: Target entity corrupted by Archonic Fragment.]

[Designation: Archon Vessel – Subject #01]

[Tier Estimate: High Tier 2 → Unstable Tier 3 potential.]

Arin took one step forward, his aura flaring gently in response.

"I'm not here to fight you," he said. "But if you're under its control—"

> "Control? No." Goku tilted his head slightly. "Ascension. The Archon showed me truth. Power beyond gods. Beyond death."

Arin's eyes narrowed. "And beyond you?"

The corrupted Saiyan smiled faintly. "No. This is me."

---

The battle began without warning.

Goku vanished. In less than a heartbeat, his fist connected with Arin's jaw, sending him spiraling into the sky. The world below shattered from the backlash.

Arin righted himself midair, metallic armor shifting to cover his chest and shoulders. His Core pulsed — rhythm matching his heartbeat.

> [Qi Flow Enhanced]

[Core Output: 3.1x]

Goku appeared again, a blur of white energy. Arin blocked his punch — the shockwave disintegrated the clouds. Their auras clashed, turning the air to plasma.

Every strike now felt different. It wasn't just ki — Goku's energy carried the same pattern as the Archon's laws. Each hit rewrote the air, erased friction, defied physics.

Arin countered with Assimilate — each block siphoning fragments of that corrupted energy.

The more they fought, the more his Core adapted.

> +300,000 Qi

+280,000 CP

+340,000 Qi

Goku snarled, pushing him back.

"Still stealing strength, huh?"

Arin smirked. "It's not stealing if it's already mine."

He vanished — reappearing behind Goku, metallic blades extending from his forearms. He slashed — one blade cut clean through Goku's aura, the other grazed his shoulder. Silver blood spilled into the air like mercury.

Goku's expression didn't change.

Instead, he laughed softly.

> "Then take it all."

He pressed his palms together. His aura condensed, shrinking into a sphere of perfect light — smaller than a marble but radiating infinite pressure.

Arin's instincts screamed.

> [Warning: Archon Fragment Core Compression approaching singularity.]

He barely had time to raise his arms before Goku fired.

The beam wasn't light — it was a line of deletion. Space folded and erased itself in its path.

Arin roared, activating both Change and Assimilate simultaneously. His hands morphed into massive gauntlets that absorbed and redirected energy, forming a spiral shield of darkness.

The beam hit — and stopped.

The world froze.

Then Arin pushed forward.

Step by step, inch by inch, forcing the impossible attack backward. His veins glowed black, his Core blazing with power. The metallic plates on his body began cracking from overload.

> [Assimilation at 92%]

[New Subskill: Archonic Nullification]

He roared — a sound that shook the heavens — and unleashed everything.

The beam shattered.

The explosion swallowed the sky.

---

When the light cleared, only Arin stood — breathing hard, but alive. His armor was half-melted, his right arm gone from the elbow down, regenerating slowly in tendrils of black mist.

Goku was gone. Or rather — what was left of him lay unconscious on the ground, his energy flickering weakly.

Arin floated down, kneeling beside him.

The System pinged softly:

> [Fragment Purged.]

[Archon Vessel neutralized.]

[Residual energy stored.]

Arin looked at Goku — a faint smile tugging at his lips.

"Still too stubborn to die, huh?"

He lifted him gently, setting him beside Vegeta. Both Saiyans stirred faintly.

Then the horizon cracked again.

Arin looked up.

Another tear in the sky — but this one wasn't white. It was black and violet, pulsing like a heartbeat.

From within, a voice whispered — deep, resonant, ancient.

> "So… the new Blackstar has awakened."

Arin's eyes narrowed.

"Who's there?"

> "The one who came before you. The first who tried to defy the Void."

Arin's Core pulsed violently — reacting in fear.

> [System Alert: Unknown Core signature detected.]

[Designation: The First Blackstar.]

The sky screamed open.

A silhouette stepped through — tall, armored in black fire, eyes burning crimson.

Its voice was calm. Cold.

> "You're using my Core, child."

Arin stood, aura flickering like a storm barely contained.

"Then come take it."

The two energies collided again — reality shattering around them.
