Meanwhile at some other place
"What was the book's genre again?"
Says evelyn in a grumbled voice as she lies unconscious on the ground.
"How comfortable, feels like I can rest here for eternity."
"Thanks for the compliment"
"!!"
The male voice immediately woke up evelyn, she found herself resting on the thief looking terminator's thigh while also finding herself surrounded by complete darkness.
She immediately jumps backwards and rolls on the ground in a reverse direction and tries hard to activate her power as-
"You powers won't work here."
She really didn't feel anything at all. The terminator removes his hand and takes out a torch dimly lighting the area around them. With the help of the light evelyn discovered that she is already in her caller form.
"Just what on the earth happened while I was asleep."
When evelyn tried to recall some events she only remembers hearing overlapping voices and seeing something bright the moment she opened her eyes.
"Never mind let's first deal with the terminator in front of me first. "
Evelyn runs forward with intention of knocking out the terminator in a single blow.
"Are you seriously choosing to fight in this situation right now?"
The terminator's sentence make evelyn to lose her focus as she trips on the ground.
"Why would I not choose to fight after being kidnapped?"
After hearing her response the terminator let's out a long frustrated sigh as he presses his hand on his head while massaging his temples.
"You were asleep during the whole incident, weren't you?"
"Huh?"
After getting confirmation due to her reaction, the terminator explained the whole incident from her being asleep to the point of how they ended up where they are right now.
"Looks like I accidentally stumbled upon somewhere and received a really bad curse . I should just have stayed home and threw a tantrum like a child that day. "
"How can I trust you and believe that this isn't another one of your schemes to wreak havoc."
Even though the terminator is wearing a mask , evelyn can see his vein pop. The terminator pops towards a door which has a purple and golden color shade with a tree design and the sign 'the balance of energy.'
"The only reason why I bothered to stay by your side is because the I can't open the damn door myself. I tried to use your body while you were unconscious but it seems that we both need to be awake for the door to open. If your stupid brain still sees me suspicious then try to get out of this place on your own."
"What a rude attitude , he is trying to manipulate me by lying about my kidnapping , isn't he? Just you wait, I will foil your plans by finding an escape route. "
Evelyn extends her hand asking for the torch which only resulted in receiving 'why would I share my torch with someone like you' look. This makes evelyn pissed off as she leaves with heavy footsteps and wanders around in the darkness in order to find an exit.
1 hour later
Evelyn returns from the direction while covered in sweat .
"Welcome to the path that lads towards the exit." Said the terminator in a very cheerful voice
"Shut up!"
Evelyn then starts heading towards the other direction.
3 hours later
Evelyn comes back to the starting point as her whole body is covered in sweat . She finds the terminator sleeping on the floor without a care in the world. Evelyn then subconsciously lets out a loud growl as a reaction.
"*yawn* found an exit yet?" said the terminator while rubbing his eyes.
"Let's open the door." Said evelyn in a whispering voice
"What did you say, I couldn't hear you clearly." Said the terminator while putting his hands behind his ear .
"I WAS WRONG ! LET'S OPEN THE DOOR TOGETHER!"
"Looks like you still have a few brain cells left inside your brain after all.''
"It doesn't mean that I-"
"Save the melodramatic speech for later , would you?"
Evelyn really wished to strangle the terminator in front of him right now but she has no choice but to co-operate with him since she slept through the whole incident after all.
Evelyn places her left hand on the golden side of the door's handle while the terminator places his right hand on the purple side of the door's handle.
The door opened in a casual way revealing nothing but darkness in front of them. All of a sudden a strong wind forced evelyn and the terminator to move ahead which resulted in them falling down a hole.
