It was radiating directly from the solid rock face at the far rear of the cavern, deep in the shadows behind the stone table… subtle, steady, and completely out of place.
Sol stepped past the crude stone table, his boots crunching softly over loose pebbles as he approached the wall, tilting his head as his spiritual senses zeroed in on a specific section of rock.
Beneath the natural, irregular texture of the stone, there was an unnatural, condensed density vibrating in the air, humming at a frequency that made the marrow in his bones itch.
