Chapter 393: Everyone Turning Into Gods
Imu hovered in mid-air, gazing at the perfectly square abyss she had just blasted into existence, her eyes filled with absolute fanaticism.
"This is… the power of a God," she murmured softly.
Down on the pier, the group of great pirates had long since been struck dumb.
Kaido swallowed hard, the spiked club in his hand trembling faintly. "I thought transforming into a black dragon was already absurd enough. This old hag just evaporated the ocean? How the hell are we supposed to fight that!"
Whitebeard remained silent, his grip on Murakumogiri's hilt creaking under the pressure. This pure discharge of energy had completely surpassed the realm of the Tremor-Tremor Fruit.
Just as the crowd was still reeling from the shock of Imu's "Tri-Beam," another anomaly erupted from the direction of the tavern.
Wzzzz—
A bizarre hum instantly blanketed the area for several kilometers. It was a very strange sensation. It wasn't the mountain-crushing weight of Haki. Instead, it felt as though a pair of invisible, massive hands were tightly gripping everyone's hearts.
"Nen?"
Sitting behind the counter, Blake set down his rag. A playful smile danced on his lips. "Doflamingo, that brat's luck isn't bad at all. To think he awakened the most troublesome Specialization category."
Just as his words fell, a pink silhouette materialized out of thin air on the tavern's roof.
Doflamingo.
He was still draped in his extravagant feathered coat, wearing his flashy sunglasses. But his aura had fundamentally changed. A highly condensed, purplish-black aura danced around his body like living flames.
"Fuffuffuffu…" Doflamingo spread his arms wide, letting out a burst of maniacal laughter. "So this is the world of 'Nen'? What an intoxicating malice!"
He hooked a single finger. "En!"
BOOM!
Using him as the epicenter, a visible, semi-transparent sphere expanded outward instantly. A hundred meters. A thousand meters. Three thousand meters! Within this range, the dancing of every speck of dust and the heartbeat of every single person clearly reflected within his mind.
"Is that… Doflamingo?" Sengoku's eyes went wide with disbelief. "Why has his aura become so evil?"
Doflamingo looked down at the crowd below, locking his gaze onto an unfortunate pirate.
"Marionette." He spat out a single word.
Without any warning, the pirate with a 300-million Beri bounty completely stiffened. Then, he actually drew the longsword at his waist and fearlessly thrust it toward his own captain.
"Captain! Dodge! My body isn't listening to me!" the pirate shrieked in terror. Yet his movements were as precise as a textbook technique.
This was the product of combining Nen with the String-String Fruit. He no longer needed physical strings. As long as someone was within the range of his "En," those with insufficient willpower would instantly become his puppets.
"Don't embarrass yourself by showing off such petty tricks." A cold, ruthless voice suddenly drifted over from the shoreline.
The originally humid sea breeze instantly became searingly hot. No. That wasn't heat. That was an extreme temperature capable of igniting the very air!
Sizzle… sizzle…
The wooden planks on the pier spontaneously combusted. The ocean water began to boil. Even the rocks on the edge of the abyss Imu had just created began to melt.
A figure draped in a white Justice coat slowly approached from the distance. Sakazuki. Akainu.
His current state was extremely bizarre. He hadn't activated his magma form. However, his right hand tightly gripped an entirely charred, unremarkable-looking katana.
"Dungeon: Bleach, completed." Akainu's voice was terribly hoarse. With every step he took, the ground beneath his feet turned into scorched earth.
"Great Eruption?" Kaido frowned and asked.
"No." Akainu raised his head, a chilling red light flashing in his eyes. "That is a thing of the past."
He slowly drew the charred katana.
"All things in the universe turn to ashes."
"Zanka no Tachi."
BOOM!
The instant the blade was fully unsheathed, the temperature of all of Foosha Village skyrocketed to thousands of degrees! The pirates who had just been watching the show instantly had their clothes scorched black. Those who were slightly weaker severely dehydrated and fainted on the spot.
"Did the fucking sun fall out of the sky?!" Morgans frantically snapped photos, his feathers getting singed crisp.
"Sakazuki! Stop it!" Sengoku roared furiously. He could sense that if Akainu took a few more steps, the entire island would be melted down.
Akainu snorted coldly and sheathed the sword. That world-destroying scorching sensation was barely suppressed.
"So this is the… ultimate destruction the shop owner mentioned?" Akainu stared at his right hand. He could feel the restless, violent Spiritual Pressure surging within him. Right now, a punch from him wouldn't just be magma. It would be embers capable of utterly erasing all matter on a molecular level.
"It really is hot, Sakazuki." A lazy voice chimed in at exactly the right moment. "But starting fires in public isn't a very good habit."
Crack—
Following that voice, an extreme, bone-piercing chill instantly swept over from another direction. The ground that Akainu had just scorched red was instantly coated in a layer of azure ice crystals.
Ice and fire clashed. Massive clouds of white steam instantly billowed into the air.
Aokiji leisurely pedaled his signature bicycle out of the white fog. His attire hadn't changed, but his eyes had turned into a deep, abyssal ice-blue.
"Kuzan?" Akainu narrowed his eyes, murderous intent flaring. "You're back too."
Aokiji stopped his bike and exhaled a breath of cold air. The breath turned to ice the moment it hit the ground, actually freezing fine cracks into the surrounding space itself.
"Arara, my luck was pretty good. I went to a world called Akame ga Kill! and picked up a little toy called 'Mahapadma'."
He casually waved his hand.
CRACK!
A thousand meters of the ocean surface froze solid in an instant. This wasn't ordinary freezing. It was an "Absolute Zero" that congealed time and space together.
The churning waves locked in their arching postures. Birds froze mid-flight. Even the dust motes in the air stood perfectly still.
"Freezing time and space?" Whitebeard's expression shifted entirely. This level of power completely exceeded human comprehension.
Out on the open sea, the Four Emperors and Marine Admirals had been strong, but still within the realm of understanding. But now?
Imu could erase the ocean with a single blast. Doflamingo could invisibly control minds. Akainu could turn all things in the universe to ash. Aokiji could freeze time and space.
Was this even the pirate world anymore?!
"Insane… Everyone has gone completely insane." Shanks chuckled bitterly and shook his head. He looked at his newly regenerated left arm and suddenly felt it wasn't all that impressive anymore. Originally, he thought that regrowing a limb and learning the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist meant he was a massive winner.
Looking around now, his old rivals were more freakish than the last!
Blake calmly sipped his coffee. Watching this group of gods clashing outside his tavern, a sly glint flashed in his eyes.
Keep stirring the pot! Grow well, my little cash cows!
