"Aki-Kun, are you coming home this afternoon?"
Akira heard Sajuna's question and nodded. Of course he was going home, but not to take Sajuna home.
After all, Sajuna had sent all the art supplies she bought to his house, and he still had to help Sajuna unpack and organize the delivered items.
However, thinking of this, Akira suddenly remembered: Sajuna decided to send the art supplies to his house like this, without asking her parents, right?
"Sajuna."
Akira looked up and asked.
"Hmm?"
Sajuna was eating when she heard Akira's voice. She immediately looked up, made a questioning sound, and took a sip of water from her cup.
"Do Sajuna's parents know that Sajuna sent the art supplies to my house?"
Akira looked at Sajuna.
Sajuna's cheeks suddenly flushed slightly, and her eyes involuntarily darted away. She felt a little flustered, because sending the art supplies to Aki-Kun's house was indeed her own decision.
But if she told her parents, her mother would probably agree, right?
Sajuna didn't dare to guess her father's thoughts for now. She wasn't sure how far her mother had 'conquered' her father yet.
If she rashly asked her father and made him feel that Aki-Kun was more important than him, then things would be troublesome...
Akira looked at Sajuna's reaction and probably guessed that the act of sending them to his house was mostly Sajuna's own initiative.
However, he also understood Sajuna's desire to spend more time with him. After all, he often thought the same way, so he naturally understood the feelings of Sajuna, who liked him.
So he spoke to Sajuna in a relatively calm tone.
"Then let me talk to your uncle and aunt about the art supplies."
"Lest your uncle and aunt think I've run off with their little darling too early."
Sajuna's cheeks were slightly shy, and she nodded gently, but in her heart, she felt that Aki-Kun had already 'run off' with her, and here he was, saying such a boastful thing.
After they finished their ramen, the two left the ramen shop and boarded the train to Akira's house.
They swiped their cards to get on, found two seats next to each other, and sat down quietly, waiting for the train to reach its destination.
The train made a "ding" sound as it stopped. Akira and Sajuna checked their belongings to make sure they hadn't left anything behind before slowly stepping off the train.
After returning home, Akira pulled out his key and unlocked the door. The two walked into the entryway with their bags. Akira placed the paper bags on the floor, then took off his shoes and put on his indoor slippers.
He turned and took the paper bags Sajuna was carrying, placed them aside, then took out the pink slippers Sajuna had prepared and placed them in front of her.
"I haven't been mopping the floor very diligently lately, so it's better to wear slippers."
Akira said apologetically.
Even though his home had a Japanese-style tatami, it was indeed strange to still wear slippers when walking around inside.
"Aki-Kun, you should be more diligent even living alone."
Sajuna said helplessly. Seeing Akira's somewhat helpless expression, she suddenly felt that Aki-Kun's eyes and demeanor seemed a little lonely and dejected, and her heart ached.
Aki-Kun was the only one left in his home.
The days spent with Aki-Kun were so happy that Sajuna always forgot the fact that Aki-Kun was an orphan. After all, Aki-Kun was always so happy when he was with her, making her feel that Aki-Kun should be in a happy family.
Sajuna put on her slippers and gently hugged Akira's arm, saying nothing.
Akira was about to take the paper bags to his bedroom. Seeing Sajuna's sudden action, he was a little confused for a moment, but still habitually stroked Sajuna's hair.
"How about I come over to accompany Aki-Kun more often in the future?"
Sajuna looked up at Akira, her eyes full of tenderness and pity.
"Sajuna is already accompanying me all the time, and I'm very happy right now."
Akira probably understood what Sajuna was feeling. After all, a girl's heart is always delicate, always sentimental over past events, causing her to feel down.
Akira was already used to it, so while he was touched by Sajuna's care for him, he wanted Sajuna to be happier in front of him and not worry about other things.
As long as she stayed with him, that was enough. He could overcome the remaining difficulties himself.
So, after stroking Sajuna's hair, he took Sajuna's hand, picked up the pile of clothes with his other hand, and walked towards his bedroom.
"I always want to come to Aki-Kun's house."
Sajuna stood in Akira's bedroom, looking at the room arranged as before. She ran to the computer desk, sat down, and turned on Aki-Kun's computer.
"Aki-Kun, are all your manuscripts on this computer?"
"Isn't that obvious?"
Akira replied.
Sajuna suddenly remembered the manga "Succubus Liz" she read today. The male protagonist, a high school light novel author, seemed to always stay up late writing light novels, which was why Succubus Liz kept trying various ways to get him to sleep.
"Aki-Kun, when do you usually write light novels?"
"Aki-Kun, you shouldn't be staying up late, right?"
Sajuna asked curiously, with a hint of worry in her tone.
"Usually, after a date with Sajuna, I'll write for a while when I get home, and then stop around bedtime."
"Of course, I won't stay up late because of light novels."
Akira stroked his hair. After all, he didn't have to worry about inspiration for now; he was just using his words to refine the images in his mind.
"That's good."
Sajuna let out a sigh of relief, then patted her chest, making a 'thump-thump' sound.
"Aki-Kun, you absolutely cannot stay up late. There are many dangers to staying up late..."
Sajuna held out her fingers and began to list the dangers of staying up late.
"Memory loss, easy weight gain, bad skin, hair loss, and dark circles..."
"I know, I know, Sajuna, you don't need to emphasize it anymore."
Akira tapped Sajuna's forehead, stopping her endless repetition. He felt that at any moment, Sajuna would start talking about "endocrine disorders," and then about the decrease in sperm count and quality.
By then, he wouldn't even be embarrassed, but Sajuna herself would probably lose her composure.
Although watching Sajuna get embarrassed was also an enjoyable thing, Akira temporarily felt it was better for Sajuna to be a bit more normal, as Sajuna in this state made it easier for him to show affection...
After putting the purchased clothes into the wardrobe one by one, Akira turned his head to look at Sajuna, who was curiously browsing his computer, and interrupted her.
"Sajuna, isn't the art supply store's delivery service almost here?"
Sajuna then hastily pulled out her phone and checked the message from the art supply store.
