In a dimension independent of the main universe, golden thunder and silver nebulas intertwined.
Fragments of time floated like shards of glass. The folds of space were like crumpled paper.
Two immensely powerful gods collided wildly in this dimension.
Zeus wantonly wielded his authority. Every bolt of thunder contained the power to destroy worlds, and every ray of light carried the divinity to purify all things.
His attacks were like a cosmic storm, violent and chaotic, attempting to overwhelm Athena with absolute power.
Saori was like a small boat in the storm, seemingly on the verge of capsizing at any moment, yet always managing to evade attacks in an incredible way at the most dangerous times.
During the fierce battle, Zeus's cold voice pierced through the roar of energy. "Athena, I once glimpsed the future and saw that your mother, Metis, would give birth to a pair of siblings..."
"You are the sister, and the younger brother would be the new King of Gods!"
"I swallowed your mother. I should have completely rewritten this future."
"But you were still born, emerging from my head, taking away my wisdom and power!"
Zeus growled. He did not understand why, as the almighty King of Gods, fate still existed.
"Only by devouring you can I take back my power, completely rewrite fate, extend my rule, and even... allow me to touch the supreme Ninth Sense!"
"Athena, for my sake, and for the eternal rule of the Olympian gods, accept your death peacefully!"
Athena's voice was incredibly cold. "Zeus, you are lustful and heartless. You swallowed my mother just for a vague, insubstantial future..."
"What kind of King of Gods is a scumbag like you?"
Saori paused, then continued, "And don't talk to me about the Olympian gods."
"After my true body was killed by you, I ceased to be a god. I am merely a human possessing the power of a god!"
"You would rather be human than a god?" Zeus seemed to hear the most absurd words, laughing in anger as his thunderous attacks grew even more powerful.
"Correct!" Saori admitted frankly. As she struggled to withstand Zeus's increasingly violent onslaught, she said,
"If most humans are good and kind, with only a small portion being ugly and evil, then it is the opposite for gods."
"The vast majority are so ugly they disgust me, especially you, my father!"
"Insolent!" Zeus was completely enraged.
Being evaluated like this by his own daughter was unbearable for him.
"The nature of the gods is the foundation of the universe. Humanity should follow in the footsteps of the gods, not use human so-called moral character to discipline the gods as you do!"
Saori sneered. "What only knows how to indulge its nature is a beast. For example, you, a rutting bull!"
"You!!" Although Zeus was enraged, he quickly calmed down and said in a deep voice, "Your disgust for the gods is precisely the key to your downfall!"
"You now only have a mortal body… fragile, small, and vulnerable!"
Zeus roared, pushing the power of thunder and sunlight to its limit, transforming into a destructive torrent that pierced through time and space.
"Whereas I... have taken over the body of my most proud son, Apollo! His solar authority perfectly compensates for some of the shortcomings of my thunderous power!"
"In the end, I win this battle!"
Boom!
That destructive torrent struck solidly against the Nike staff that Saori had barely managed to raise.
"Ugh!"
Saori let out a painful grunt. The light of her God Cloth completely dimmed. The staff flew from her hand, and she herself flew backward, falling into another different space-time.
Zeus tore through space-time and followed close behind.
"My daughter, accept your fate. Be eaten by me and return to my body..."
Just then, a calm voice sounded abruptly.
"Although I am now the God of Death, I was once a Saint. To speak of killing the goddess in front of me, a Saint, is somewhat disrespectful."
Zeus was suddenly startled and spun around.
Unbeknownst to him, that human who had stolen Hades's authority had also appeared in this Space-Time.
"How did you get here? What about Hera and the others?" Zeus asked in a deep voice, already having an ominous premonition.
Setsuna smiled slightly. "They have become my power."
Zeus's pupils contracted sharply. "How is that possible? How could a human have such immense power?"
Those were six major gods!
Even he might not have been able to kill them in such a short time.
Setsuna laughed. "The so-called King of Gods is actually a coward who dare not accept reality?"
Zeus tried to call out to Hera but received no response.
As his heart sank, he finally began to seriously evaluate the human before him.
He finally realized that this human might be an existence countless times more dangerous than Athena!
"It seems you are my ultimate opponent!" Zeus said in a low voice, then suddenly stiffened.
He had just prepared to summon thunder and the blazing sun when he suddenly realized that his authority was not responding.
"What is happening? Where is my authority?" For the first time, a hint of panic appeared in Zeus's voice.
It was no wonder he was so disturbed. It was simply too abnormal.
He had wielded the authority of thunder for hundreds of millions of years. It was like his instinct.
But now, that instinct had failed.
Setsuna sighed. "You were too impatient. Before pursuing Athena, did you not observe the entrance?"
"What do you mean?" Zeus instinctively sensed something was wrong.
"Athena did not enter some different dimension, but my universe." Setsuna spread his arms.
"I have the six major gods to thank for that. Their power became the nourishment for the Seed of the Universe."
"My Seed of the Universe has begun to take root and sprout. Now, I just need you, the King of Gods, to complete the final watering!"
"What? This is another universe?" Zeus exclaimed in terror. No wonder he had lost his power.
After all, he did not control the authority of this universe.
"There's no need to pretend to be so panicked. I won't give you the chance." Setsuna's tone was calm. He keenly perceived that Zeus was trying to establish a connection with this universe.
After all, Zeus's realm was what it was. If given some time to adapt, he could completely regain his authority.
But the problem was, Setsuna would not give him that time.
'This shows that one's own power is more reliable.' Setsuna sighed inwardly.
Just like Omega Shenron, if not for the destruction of his physical body, his strength would not have changed due to a change in the universe.
Hearing Setsuna expose his intention, Zeus dropped the surprised expression on his face and sighed. "I never expected to fall at the hands of an insignificant human. How ironic."
