Chapter 1. Raiden Ei's Sign-in Haul!

No one would have expected that Raiden Ei, one of The Seven Archons, the God of Thunder and Eternity, would cry like a child at a moment like this.

Tears slid down her cheeks one after another, unrestrained and silent.

Seeing this, Futsu Mitama immediately panicked. Without hesitation, he shut off the group live stream, unwilling to let the others witness her loss of composure.

The reason was simple. From every angle, Raiden Ei had treated him with exceptional care—so much so that it went beyond mere mentorship, closer to that of family. Not only did she personally guide him once every seven days, but she had also given him the forging method of his companion weapon, passed down her own legacy, and even entrusted him with her authority.

And when he had been dragged into the Abyss by the Abyss Order, she did not hesitate in the slightest. She charged straight into the Abyss, joining forces with Zhongli, Venti, and Dvalin to bring him back.

Honestly, if a certain unnamed Sixth Harbinger of the Fatui had received such treatment, he would have long since become a die-hard follower of Raiden Ei. If anyone dared to speak ill of her, he would probably exterminate their entire family without hesitation.

It was precisely because of all this that Futsu Mitama felt deep gratitude toward Raiden Ei. During the execution of the plan, he had even felt a trace of reluctance, wondering if there was any need to continue.

Since Raiden Makoto already had hope of resurrection, wouldn't it have been simpler to just bring Raiden Ei into the Chat Group directly?

However, both Raiden Makoto and Yae Miko insisted that since things had already progressed this far, it would be better to let Raiden Ei experience some hardship and gain growth from it.

The outcome had been ideal—but now, this Archon was truly crying. Whether from joy or shock, the tears were real.

Futsu Mitama looked at the tear resting in his palm. It tingled faintly, containing traces of Electro Element.

In a sense, it was almost fitting. She truly was an Archon; even her tears carried elemental power. Her very existence was a treasure.

A stray thought crossed his mind. If he grew stronger in the future, could he punch Venti and see if he would shed Anemo-infused tears?

On second thought, Dvalin could probably accomplish that without effort. Perhaps next time he visited Mondstadt—

No. This wasn't the time to think about such things.

He needed to figure out how to comfort Ei.

"Ei, don't cry," he said hurriedly, clearly lacking experience in such matters. "This is real. Everything here is real. Just…don't get too happy."

"Try to control your emotions. I can't catch all of them."

However, Raiden Ei seemed not to hear him at all. The tears continued to fall like small pearls infused with Electro Element. At this rate, Futsu Mitama truly couldn't keep up. Left with no other choice, he stored the tears he managed to catch into his independent space.

After nearly half a minute, Raiden Ei finally calmed down. She took a deep breath and looked at Futsu Mitama, forcing her expression back into composure.

"What exactly is going on?" she asked, her tone steady, though the urgency beneath it was unmistakable. "Makoto—is she alright? Where is she now? Is she safe?"

After a brief pause, she added, "Also, why is Maha Rukkhadevata in the Chat Group? Does she have any ill intentions toward you?"

It was clear that Raiden Ei's primary concern was Raiden Makoto, followed by the former Dendro Archon.

Although she did not understand why the deceased Dendro Archon was also present in the Chat Group, the fact remained that the Geo Archon, the Anemo Archon, and even her sister were all there.

"Makoto is very safe," Futsu Mitama replied, glancing subtly at the Musou Isshin in Raiden Ei's hand. "And she is right here."

"You don't need to worry about her safety. Even though she can't hear our conversation."

Raiden Ei blinked, momentarily confused. She looked around the Plane of Euthymia, unable to immediately grasp his meaning.

But soon enough, realization dawned. Her gaze slowly shifted downward, settling on the Musou Isshin in her hand.

Previously, the anomaly within Musou Isshin had been interpreted as nothing more than the lingering will of the deceased Raiden Makoto, preventing conflict between them.

But now, it was clear—That was no mere remnant.

She was truly alive.

"When?" Raiden Ei asked, her voice calm but heavy with meaning. She wanted to know when Futsu Mitama had obtained the Chat Group, and when Raiden Makoto and the others had joined it.

Like Zhongli and Maha Rukkhadevata before her, Raiden Ei found herself filled with questions about this miraculous existence.

"Well, it's a long story," Futsu Mitama said.

"Explain it in detail," Raiden Ei replied calmly, her curiosity evident.

Futsu Mitama hesitated slightly before speaking again. "In that case, why not ask Makoto directly? She was among the earliest to join the Chat Group. She understands many things more clearly than I do. I only played a supporting role."

In truth, this was not entirely accurate. As one of the most active members in the group, very little escaped Futsu Mitama's notice.

But this was a rare reunion between sisters.

He chose not to interfere.

"Helping her?" A faint glimmer passed through Raiden Ei's eyes. She nodded slightly and refocused her attention on the Chat Group.

Futsu Mitama then briefly explained some of the basic functions of the Chat Group to help her adapt.

At this moment, within the group—

[Yae Miko: "Hey, hey, hey? Why did the group live stream cut off?! @Futsu Mitama, don't hide good stuff."]

[Venti: "Exactly, exactly!"]

[Raiden Makoto: "Sigh~ I can understand Ei's feelings, but don't get too emotional. There are outsiders here."]

[Venti: "Outsiders? Who? We're all family~"]

[Raiden Ei: "@Yae Miko, Miko, come to the Plane of Euthymia. It's been a long time since I've seen you. I miss you a bit."]

[Yae Miko: "I suddenly remembered that there are many matters at the Grand Narukami Shrine. I'll take my leave~~"]

[Yae Miko: "Hey, hey, hey!!! Ei! Tell the Shogun to stop!!! In broad daylight! She's cutting me!"]

[Raiden Ei: "It's fine. With your skill, you can definitely dodge that strike."]

[Albedo: "Hahahahaha."]

[Kamisato Ayaka: "Guuji Yae should be alright—"]

[Sangonomiya Kokomi: "She should be fine. Since Shogun-sama said so, it must be fine."]

[Futsu Mitama: "It's fine, I've already returned the power. Ei, if you have anything you want to ask, just ask directly."]

[Azhdaha: "I joined earlier. Beelzebub, just ask whatever you want! I'll tell you everything I know—and some interesting things you don't."]

[Raiden Makoto: "I was even earlier than you. Step aside—this is Inazuma's home turf!"]

[Raiden Ei: "There are many things I wish to ask. Most importantly—are you alright? What is your current state?"]

[Raiden Makoto: "As for that, I am much better now—And I am currently within Musou Isshin. Originally, I left a faint will, intending to 'resurrect' after you fully unleashed the power of Musou Isshin, to give you a gift."]

[Raiden Makoto: "However, due to a [variable], this will of mine awakened prematurely, thus gaining new life."]

[Raiden Ei: "Futsu Mitama?"]

[Raiden Makoto: "Yes, that's right. It was an accident, but I am very grateful for this accident, which allowed me to see the Inazuma of today again."]

[Yae Miko: "Hey, hey, hey I'm alive To put it simply Makoto is very angry! Ei How could you manage Inazuma into—"]

[Venti: "@Yae Miko, still alive?"]

[Albedo: "The consequence of casually interrupting someone else's words."]

[Guizhong: "Let's get back to the main topic. It's a rare reunion of sisters; this is a touching scene."]

[Aila: "Mm."]

[Shenhe: "Mm." +1]

[Raiden Makoto: "Actually, this can't entirely be blamed on Ei. It was all too sudden. I've always felt very guilty for suddenly entrusting Inazuma to you. These principles should have been gradually taught to you by me, to make you no longer obsessed with 'Musou,' but unfortunately, at that time—"]

[Raiden Ei: "Did you sense what was about to happen in Khaenri'ah then?"]

[Raiden Makoto: "Mm, somewhat. For any of The Seven Archons, [that place] is an existence that cannot be ignored."]

[Maha Rukkhadevata: "I didn't go. I was dealing with the Irminsul, and then—there was no 'then'."]

[Venti: "Indeed, the situation over there was quite bad. However, let bygones be bygones."]

[Venti: "@Zhongli, Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Consultant, do you want to know what happened back then? I can tell you in detail~"]

[Azhdaha: "Anemo Archon, are you perhaps smitten with Zhongli's talent? You @ him specifically every time."]

[Venti: "Hahahahaha~~~ I am smitten But as for him joining Mondstadt, let's forget about that."]

[Zhongli: "..."]

[Zhongli: "When you are free, I will visit you in Mondstadt."]

[Venti: "Eh? No!"]

[Raiden Ei: "..."]

[Raiden Makoto: "This is the daily routine of the Chat Group. While chatting, the topic always goes off-track."]

[Raiden Ei: "Off-track?"]

[Raiden Makoto: "That's a technical term in the Chat Group. You'll gradually learn it later. For now, let me explain in detail. When I realized I was in the Chat Group, I wanted to see how Inazuma was doing, so I entrusted Futsu Mitama—"]

At this point, Raiden Makoto began explaining to Raiden Ei how she had first entered the Chat Group.

Azhdaha, Albedo, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Kuki Shinobu, and Kamisato Ayaka gradually filled in the missing details.

Yae Miko had joined later, so she was unfamiliar with some of the earlier events, but she still added her own explanations as the discussion went on.

After nearly half an hour of conversation, Raiden Ei finally understood why the Resistance had grown so powerful.

With Raiden Makoto personally directing things behind the scenes, Yae Miko and Futsu Mitama providing covert assistance, and Sangonomiya Kokomi tirelessly managing operations, the foundation of the Resistance had been completely transformed.

In addition, bombs supplied by Alice's daughter from Mondstadt and mechanical devices provided by the God of Dust from Liyue had further strengthened their capabilities.

Given enough time to develop, even if the Shogunate Army had deployed Kujou Sara, a commander renowned for her tactical prowess, the final outcome would likely not have changed significantly.

Of course, the rapid rise of the Resistance was also closely tied to the Sakoku Decree and Vision Hunt Decree issued by Raiden Ei herself.

Raiden Makoto did not avoid this point. She directly criticized those policies, pointing out their inherent flaws. In her view, anyone with even a slightly flexible mindset would not have implemented such measures.

The Sakoku Decree had pushed ordinary citizens to their limits, and it was precisely because of this pressure that Watatsumi Island formed the Resistance, with other regions following in response.

Inside the Plane of Euthymia, the discussion about revival gradually unfolded, layer by layer, revealing truths that even Raiden Ei had never once considered.

The Vision Hunt Decree had stripped away not only Visions, but also the very backbone of Inazuma's combat strength. While it was true that a Vision did not define absolute power—true masters could still reach extraordinary heights without one—it remained undeniable that Vision bearers stood far above ordinary individuals. By forcibly reclaiming them, Ei had unknowingly hollowed out her own nation.

The contrast was almost cruel.

In Inazuma, true talents had become increasingly scarce. Yet in Liyue and Mondstadt, capable individuals seemed to appear one after another. Even a seemingly ordinary cook could stand beside one of the Demon God. In Mondstadt, someone like Albedo—clearly not born of that land—still chose to devote himself to it wholeheartedly.

But Inazuma?

Even Raiden Makoto found herself at a loss for words. Had it not been for Futsu Mitama and Aila, she might not have known how to continue speaking at all.

Those words struck deeply. Raiden Ei felt a faint heat rise to her cheeks, unable to offer any rebuttal. If such criticism had come from anyone else, she could have argued, defended, or even dismissed it. But from Makoto—there was no refutation.

And yet, strangely, she smiled. A quiet, fragile smile—one that had not appeared in centuries.

This feeling— this connection— was far warmer than the endless stillness of the Plane of Euthymia.

After some time exchanging words with Makoto and the others, Raiden Ei felt something within her stir again, as though a long-stilled heart had begun to beat once more. Today, of all days, she had witnessed both the turning of Inazuma's fate and the impossible return of her sister. With Makoto, Futsu Mitama, and the others present, the future no longer seemed so bleak.

Gradually, the conversation shifted toward something more serious.

Makoto's revival.

It was no longer a distant hope—it was a tangible objective.

When the topic shifted again—this time toward Makoto's revival—the atmosphere grew serious once more.

The possibility already existed. Guizhong's successful return served as proof. The focus now lay on the "special husk doll," the vessel required to house a god's soul.

Discussions began immediately.

Azhdaha admitted that the key material remained unknown. Even with Zhongli, Albedo, and the others investigating, no clear answer had emerged. Guizhong speculated that such a material must be extraordinarily rare. Zhongli, however, revealed that he had already found a lead.

Sumeru.

The conclusion surprised many, including Ei.

Maha Rukkhadevata was quick to respond, clarifying that the World Tree itself did not possess such properties. Yet the discussion continued, gradually refining the idea. The material was not something that simply existed—it might need to be created, much like refining ingredients into something entirely new.

The logic clicked into place.

Even Ei began to follow.

Eventually, the topic settled—for now. And then, unexpectedly, Makoto proposed something else.

"sign-in"

The reaction within the group was immediate. Excitement, curiosity, anticipation—all at once. Even those who rarely spoke seemed interested.

Inside the Plane of Euthymia, Raiden Ei turned to Futsu Mitama, confusion evident in her gaze.

He explained it simply. A function within the Chat Group. A chance-based mechanism. Sometimes it granted nothing, sometimes experience, and in rare cases—items of immense value.

Guizhong's revival had depended on one such item.

The special husk doll.

Hearing this, Raiden Ei's eyes lit up with unmistakable hope. If such a thing could be obtained—then Makoto's return would no longer be uncertain.

Without hesitation, she moved to try.

Futsu Mitama offered a brief warning, tempering expectations. Even with newcomer advantages, the probability was low. Many in the group—Makoto included—had never obtained anything of significance.

But before he could finish—

Light appeared.

A soft, golden radiance illuminated the Plane of Euthymia.

And then, in front of Raiden Ei, a complete set of exquisitely crafted kitchenware materialized, each piece gleaming faintly with an otherworldly quality.

Silence fell.

Futsu Mitama said nothing. Raiden Ei said nothing.

For a moment, neither moved.

Then, slowly, Futsu Mitama turned away, shoulders trembling slightly as he struggled to maintain composure. His voice, when it came, carried a barely concealed strain.

"After signing in…there should be a description."

He paused, then added, almost unable to hold it in, "Ei… what did you get?"

Raiden Ei glanced at the text, her expression calm on the surface—though a trace of disappointment flickered in her eyes.

"A complete set of legendary kitchenware," she said at last. "It claims that any food prepared with it will become more delicious."

Another brief silence followed.

And this time—Futsu Mitama couldn't hold it in anymore.
