The entire stadium buzzed with excitement.
The semifinals of the U.A. Sports Festival were about to begin.
Present Mic voice echoed throughout the arena.

Meanwhile, I walked toward the arena entrance.

The moment the match started, Bakugo blasted forward like a missile.
His speed shocked the audience.
"SO FAST!" Present Mic shouted.
Bakugo appeared in front of me instantly.

A massive explosion erupted.

I disappeared.
The explosion struck empty air.
"What?!" Bakugo growled.
I reappeared behind him.
Without hesitation, I launched a fireball.
Bakugo spun around and blasted it apart.

The arena shook.
The audience cheered loudly.
"Both fighters are testing each other!" Present Mic yelled.
Bakugo clicked his tongue.
"Tch."
Suddenly, dozens of explosions erupted around the battlefield.

Dust covered the arena.
The crowd couldn't see anything.
Then—
I teleported out of the smoke.
But the moment I appeared—
Bakugo was already there.
His hand was aimed directly at my face.
"Got you."
My eyes widened.

A powerful explosion sent me flying across the arena.
The audience gasped.
I slid across the ground before stopping myself.

That hurt.
Bakugo smirked.
"You finally look serious."

He had predicted where I would teleport.
For the first time during the festival...
Someone had forced me on the defensive.
The excitement inside my chest slowly grew.
I stood up.
Small flames began dancing around my body.
The temperature of the arena increased.
The crowd immediately noticed.
"WAIT A SECOND!"
Present Mic shouted.
"KUROSAWA FIRE IS GETTING STRONGER!"
Bakugo grinned.
A crazy grin.
The grin of someone who loved fighting.
"That's more like it."

Explosions burst from his palms.
At the same time, flames erupted around me.
The entire stadium trembled.
Everyone held their breath.
Then both of us charged forward.

Bakugo explosion collided with my flames.
A powerful shockwave spread across the entire arena.
The audience cheered wildly.
"THIS IS AMAZING!" Present Mic shouted.
Bakugo attacked relentlessly.
Explosion after explosion filled the battlefield.
Meanwhile, I continued using my fire quirk to avoid direct hits.

Another explosion narrowly missed my face.

Then he suddenly changed direction.
Instead of attacking directly, he launched multiple explosions toward different locations.
"What is he doing?" Kaminari asked.
Midoriya eyes widened.

Bakugo wasn't attacking.
He was predicting.
Predicting where I would use my fire quirk.

Several explosions surrounded me.
The escape routes disappeared.
Then Bakugo appeared above me.
His right hand was already glowing.
"I GOT YOU!"
A massive explosion rushed toward me.
"Damn it."

I again used my fire quirk, but no fire appeared. Instead, smoke appeared.
"What?" Midoriya and All Might said while sitting.
Todoroki and Endeavor looked at Itsuki with narrowed eyes.

The explosion struck me directly.
The entire stadium gasped.
A cloud of smoke covered the battlefield.
"A DIRECT HIT!" Present Mic yelled.

Bakugo muttered.
The smoke slowly began to clear.
The audience held their breath.
Then a silhouette appeared.

Itsuki walked out of the smoke.
His uniform was damaged.
A few burns covered his arms.
But he was still standing.
The crowd erupted into cheers.
"HE'S STILL UP!"
Present Mic screamed.
Bakugo stared at him.

Something felt wrong.
Then—
Itsuki collapsed.
Silence fell over the stadium.
Present Mic looked around.
Then—
"...And the WINNER IS BAKUGO."
The stadium cheered for both of them.
Bakugo looked at me.
"Tch... Next time, I will defeat you properly."
After the medical team took Itsuki to the medical room,
Bakugo also left the stadium.

A few hours later.
"Now, everything is fine," said Recovery Girl.
"Thank you."
After she left the room, I was finally able to rest.

I looked at the ceiling.
I smiled.
