Several days had passed since the attack on the HPSC headquarters led by the leader of Nova Genesis, Novabel.
Although Japan was still far from stable, the initial wave of chaos had begun to settle into a tense, uneasy calm.
The public remained divided, the government was scrambling to regain control, and the underground world was more active than ever.
Yet, while the nation struggled to pick up the pieces, the ones who had caused that upheaval were already moving forward with their next step.
Inside the hidden base, Arata Seigi—now known to the world as Novabel—walked confidently down the metallic corridor, leading his team toward the transport room. Yes, his team.
Beside him walked Melissa Shield, Nova Genesis' second-in-command, her steps light but determined. She was wearing her angle suit, taking on her persona of Novangle.
Behind them was Kaina Tsutsumi, formerly Lady Nagant, now fully integrated into the organization under the codename Novak.
Kaina's appearance had also changed to match her new identity. She wore a sleek purple and pink chestplate, paired with metallic cargo pants and reinforced boots of the same color scheme. Resting on her back was a highly advanced, almost sci-fi-looking sniper rifle resembling an AK platform but far more refined. A cat-shaped mask concealed her face, and her long hair was tied neatly into a ponytail, giving her a sharp, professional look.

'So this is what it feels like… to choose my own path.' Kaina thought silently as she walked.
The three of them entered the transport room, where David was already waiting.
"There you are," he said, his tone carrying a hint of pride. "Right on time. I just finished it."
He reached out and grabbed a large cloth covering something massive behind him. With a dramatic pull, the fabric dropped to the floor, revealing what lay beneath.
A futuristic, sci-fi styled van stood before them.
Its body gleamed in a clean white finish, accented by subtle design lines that hinted at advanced engineering. The tires weren't ordinary either—glowing orange energy lines ran across them, pulsing faintly as if alive. The windows were completely black-tinted, hiding the interior from any outside view. The size alone suggested it could comfortably carry at least ten people.

Arata's eyes lit up instantly. "Whoa…it looks sick!"
Melissa clasped her hands together, practically sparkling with excitement. "It looks like something straight out of a sci-fic movie!"
Kaina gave a low whistle. "Not bad, old man." (she is 22, he is 43)
David smirked slightly as he adjusted his attire. He, too, had adopted a uniform fitting Nova Genesis. He wore a green chestplate with a glowing yellow "V" symbol at its center, along with metallic cargo pants and sturdy boots. A red shield with a cobra emblem rested on his back, while an energy whip hung neatly from his utility belt. His snake mask completed the look, giving him an imposing yet composed presence.

"Get in," David said, opening the van doors.
The four of them stepped inside, and the interior did not disappoint. The design was sleek and futuristic, with holographic panels, soft glowing lights, and comfortable seating. David took the driver's seat while Arata sat beside him. Melissa and Kaina settled onto the long sofa-like seats at the back.
As David started the engine, a deep, smooth hum filled the vehicle.
"Alright," he said, gripping the controls. "Let's see what this baby can do."
The massive doors of the transport room opened, and the van shot forward at high speed.
As it exited the base, mechanical panels shifted and unfolded—wings extended from both sides, and the tires retracted, transforming into powerful thrusters.
The vehicle lifted off the ground smoothly, transitioning seamlessly into flight.
Arata glanced back at his team, his expression turning serious. "Stay sharp," he said. "Stick to the plan. If anything goes wrong, call me immediately. No unnecessary risks."
Melissa nodded confidently. "Got it."
Kaina gave a short, firm nod. "Understood."
David simply smirked. "Relax. I'm driving."
Arata raised his Infinity Gauntlet, the Space Stone glowing brightly. With a slight motion of his hand, a swirling blue portal opened directly in front of the flying van.
"Here we go."
The van flew straight into the portal.
Moments later, it emerged high above the skies of Europe.
David quickly activated the van's invisibility mode, causing the entire vehicle to vanish from sight as it continued its flight silently across the foreign landscape.
Melissa and Arata pressed closer to the window, their eyes wide with wonder. "So this is Europe…"
David's voice cut through their thoughts. "We're five kilometers from the target."
A holographic map lit up on the dashboard, marking their destination clearly.
Arata turned toward Kaina.
She met his gaze and gave a single, decisive nod.
Without hesitation, she stood up, securing her weapon before pulling on her cat mask fully. As the side door of the van slid open mid-flight, a rush of wind filled the cabin.
"Showtime," she muttered.
She stepped forward—and jumped.
The door shut behind her instantly as a pair of glider wings deployed from her suit. Activating her invisibility, she disappeared into the air as she descended toward the city below.
Inside the van, David adjusted their course. "We're moving to the next point."
The vehicle veered off in the opposite direction, continuing its silent flight.
Kaina landed smoothly on the rooftop of a tall building, her presence completely undetectable. The city stretched out before her, alive with movement, unaware of the hunter watching from above.
She crouched low and activated her quirk. Her arm shifted and reformed, transforming into a sleek sniper rifle. Bringing the scope to her eye, she began scanning the area.
"Let's find you…" she whispered.
Her vision zoomed in, sweeping across streets, buildings, and moving figures.
"There you are."
Her target came into focus.
Valdo Gollini.
He stood inside a building, his arm raised… a gun pointed directly at his own father.
