Though it was unexpected, Orsted didn't find the two side quests to be very hard. With proper planning and his knowledge of Todd Fang, he could complete it pretty easily.
After calming his nerves down, Orsted ordered the system.
'Use both the gacha chances.'

Watching the status window loading again, Orsted's heart couldn't help but beat faster. If he was lucky enough, he could erase most of his worry with a single pull.

'Another curse? Is it my destiny to be riddled by curses?' Orsted felt as if destiny might exist even in this world.
'Show me it's specific.' Orsted controlled the system curiously.

'The [tear stigma]...? The legend of the legendary heroes, I remember watching this anime in the past. I have an impression...but can't remember everything about it.' Orsted lost himself in thought.
'If the [Alpha/tear stigma] is fused with the essence of the lonely demon god, it should belong to the protagonist of that world, Ryner Lute....System, fuse it.' Orsted held no hesitation in accepting such a useful ability.
[Alpha stigma] had the side-effect of making its wielder lose control and destroy everything - but such a problem could be dealt by [Rewrite] - in Orsted's case.
[The fusion will start on 3...2....1...]
"Ugh!" Orsted covered both his eyes suddenly. It felt as if two glass shards were being poked into his eyes, and the piercing sensation travelled till his brain.
He wanted to scream out, but held it in with all his willpower. His face hardened up scarily, striking a similar image to the original Orsted of 'Jobless reincarnation'.
The pain went on for a few minutes, before it subsided.
[The fusion has been completed successfully. The bloodline curse might be inherited by your offspring in the future too.]
'That so....?' Orsted slumped down with a tired face, his golden eyes had turned blood red with a tear mark forming slit in the middle.
Indescribable information flowed into his mind, as his eyes tried analysing his surroundings.
It took a while for his will to deactivate it for the first time. His eyes turned to their usual state.
The system provided information about his [tear stigma] immediately, once Orsted brought it under his control.
[Tear stigma] abilities:
[Ultimate Analyzation: Akin to a normal Alpha Stigma's ability, this stigma is capable of analyzing magic of all forms, but on a better scale than the Alpha Stigma can. Its analysis also works on humans, objects, and even magical items with likely a much wider variety of things.]
[Erasure/ Dematerialization: Any existence analysed perfectly by the tear stigma can be Dematerialized.]
[Light blast: Through the Alpha stigma, you can release a single extremely powerful blast that moves like a fan. It uses the host's mana and stamina as fuel.]
[Warning: the power of the stigma scales with the host's mana gate. The side-effects of using the Alpha stigma has been minimized. However the host will still feel medium euphoria and slight god complex while using the Tear stigma at full potential.]
The perk of being able to copy any magic with a glance, wasn't very useful in Orsted's eyes. Just with his raw magic potential, he could do the same too.
On the other hand, being able to analyse any existence was very useful. It could come in very handy in the future.
[Demeterialization] and [Light blast] were the main offensive skills of [Tear stigma], Orsted wondered about their current destructive power. As per the system, the [Tear stigma]'s power would scale with his gate after all.
Though [Demeterialization] appeared broken, Orsted knew it wasn't absolute. It didn't affect the whole body of the enemy at once, beginning from a single spot of the body.
Hence, it gave the enemy a chance to escape its effect by simply cutting off the part of their body - which began dematerializing and turning into ash.
'It can grow stronger, so it might be possible to erase such weakness in the future.' Orsted was optimistic.
[Light blast] was definitely the most useful in Orsted eyes. When Ryner Lute awakened it the first time, he was able to destroy thousands of soldiers at once.
Though overuse did lead to physical exhaustion.
'I need to examine their uses soon...' A frown appeared on Orsted's face, before he remembered something.
The Courtesan bears habitat - he decided to make them his experimental targets. He could experience and collect data about [Tear stigma] while carrying out his revenge, a perfect situation.
Only after sensing that Zarestia had returned, Orsted continued his experiment with a peace of mind.
After many tries, Orsted had found that the magic circle of 'jobless reincarnation' could be used in this world too. With the downside being, summoning circles were pretty much useless.
No spirit or guardian could be summoned through it, leaving Orsted a little disappointed.
Storing the [god slaying emperor blade] in the inventory, Orsted decided to first discard his plan on creating a sword. Instead, focusing on creating armor or protective equipment.
'I should hold off from using dragon points for a few days. I will be gaining a lot of points pretty soon.'
The 'shinigami incident' would spread quickly, and along with it, Orsted's name would too. As the first person to ever sign a contract with the slasher, Zarestia in history.
