Elion's steps slowed. "She did not say anything?"
"No. She only said it was a family matter."
Aria's lips pressed together, "But knowing Mira, if she called it a family matter, then it was probably troublesome enough that she did not want the rest of us involved."
Elion clicked his tongue softly, "I think someone may have found her before she reached you."
Aria's hand tightened around his arm, "And you think it was her father?"
"I do not know yet."
"But if it is her father, then he is taking her somewhere."
Aria's eyes sharpened, "So we are going to follow."
"Yes..." He nodded and looked at Aria.
She looked as beautiful as ever, no doubt, but her face was still pale from crying earlier, and her eyes were still puffy and a bit red.
Her silky blue hair was also a bit messy, from smothering and brushing herself against him a bit too much. He briefly considered leaving her at the manor as well, but he doubted she would agree to such a thing.
