In this world, divided into two races, human and enhanced human, there existed another class between the enhanced humans.
Striker and Anchor.
Though Strikers were the ones people revered, loved, and respected for their unimaginable power and strength, it was Anchors who dominated the most, providing these strong heroes with that strength.
They were the ones who made sure they were in full supply and could go out there and be the best damn heroes they could possibly be.
But at what cost?
Barnes pointed to the first word on the list, "Reserve Depletion."
"Anchors have a stored amount of energy they can utilize when anchoring. And while they do have backup in case they run out of energy reserves, it can cause a lot of problems, especially if the Anchor has a lower class and/or is dealing with a high-class Striker."
He switched to the next slide that showed two empty bowls. With the press of his button, the bowls began to fill all the way to the brim.
