Kenneth stared back at him with wide eyes before they narrowed into slits. "…You didn't let me finish," he said flatly.
Lucien blinked. He then let out a low chuckle. "Consider it an act of mercy then."
The Anchor looked like he had a few things to say about that, but decided against it. The last thing he wanted to do was start a fight.
He shook his head instead, turning his attention to the sky. The sky was littered with stars. It was a breathtaking view, one he wished he could properly appreciate, but was unable to on account of the giant of a man staring holes into his face.
"I don't like being stared at," he found himself saying, his eyes still glued on the dark sky.
"You and I both know getting a few looks here and there doesn't bother you."
That was true. But he wasn't going to tell him that. "It's distracting."
"So I'm a distraction." He said it as a statement rather than a question.
