Anchoring was a progressive bond-state between an Anchor and Striker where energy exchange deepened, autonomy shifted, and identity partially merged.
The Anchoring System had a total of three phases, each representing a threshold of trust, compatibility, and biological response.
Phase one was the initial contact, also known as surface anchoring. It consisted of limited physical contact, such as hands, skin, and brief touch. During this phase, a low level of energy was exchanged between the two enhanced humans and the Anchor became subtly aware of the Striker's presence during and even after the contact ended.
