The Shuttle tore through the sky before hovering over the campus where a sprawling of trees and buildings greeted them.
A strange sense of relief washed over him as he gazed out of the window, the buildings getting closer and closer as the shuttle landed on the cobblestone.
The familiar whoosh of the doors opened and the whir of the engine stopping prompted everyone to rise almost at the same time, eager to get to the dorms, shower, eat and eventually sleep.
When Kenneth stepped out, he could feel Fae hovering next to him. She reached for his hand, giving a squeeze before sighing.
"Kind of bittersweet isn't it."
"What is?"
"That the place we've only known for a year and that has brought us more trouble than it's worth is also the place where we feel the most relieved."
Kenneth stared at the young Anchor before turning his attention to the main building before them.
"…I guess you're right."
