Chapter 92 - Caiera

"He is the Son of Sakaar!"

That line flashed through everyone's mind.

He had conquered an unbeatable natural calamity, blocked the flames of destruction, and stood there like an emerald warrior brimming with life!

The Son of Sakaar!

Everyone who saw Bant fell into a frenzy. Those Sakaarans who believed in the prophecy felt as if they were witnessing their savior. One after another, they could not help reaching their arms toward the illusory image in the sky.

"That's the Hacker?" Caiera was not sure.

But she saw the exact same emblem on Diamond War God's chest as the Four-Armed Overlord, and even the colors of their outfits looked somewhat similar.

"Doesn't matter who he is. Kill him!"

Inside the palace, the Red King, who had also seen this scene, erupted with fury.

He did not care where this creature came from. He only wanted him erased, immediately!

"I am the Son of Sakaar!"

He clenched his fists in rage.

Just like every self-important man, he believed he was the so-called chosen one.

From start to finish, the Red King had believed the legendary Son of Sakaar was none other than himself, because he was the emperor who ruled Sakaar and led it toward prosperity!

After receiving the order, Caiera and the Skull Army naturally did not dare disobey.

However, before they even moved, Bant, standing atop the crystal spire, had already noticed them.

"Caiera and the Skull Army. Just like Luma said. The Red King really sent them to eliminate me."

Not only was Bant unafraid, he charged straight toward them.

He leapt forward, and a crystal slide instantly formed beneath his feet, carrying him in a high-speed glide toward Caiera's position.

"I should find time to invent a hoverboard. That's the real standard loadout for Diamond War God," Bant muttered as he dove.

Osborn did have hoverboard tech, but Bant looked down on it. The Green Goblin's board was not even true anti-gravity.

Seeing this, Caiera knew the clash could not be avoided. She lifted her chest and barked, her voice full and commanding.

"Everyone else, take cover. Skull Army, prepare to engage!"

She did not need to say it. The village's elders and children were already hiding, and the Skull Army had long since readied themselves.

While Bant was still sliding through the sky, the energy rifles in their hands fired in unison. Beams shot upward like a storm of bullets!

Clang!

Clang!

Countless blasts struck Bant's body, but they did not even raise a ripple.

"Are your energy rifles a bit too outdated?"

His hardened body ignored the flashy, empty attack, and he smashed down like a meteor.

Boom!

Hero landing!

Bant swept his arm through the air. A gigantic emerald arm burst from the ground, crushing toward the Skull Soldiers like a bulldozer.

In an instant, more than a dozen were sent flying.

But thanks to their exoskeleton armor, they were not actually hurt that badly.

And the crystals he extended were still less sturdy than his true body. The soldiers fired and drew blades. Before long, they shattered that giant arm.

Author: I'm really not Cao A'man

Then several hundred soldiers immediately surrounded him.

There was no negotiation. The Skull Army were the Red King's dead loyalists. They obeyed his orders, and their only goal was to kill Bant.

They swarmed him at once.

"Come on!"

Bant's arm turned into a blade as he charged in!

He was attacked from front and back. His razor-sharp crystal blade chopped into one soldier, and another drove a spear into his back.

Fortunately, his entire body was made of crystal. Even when injured, he felt nothing, and it did not affect his combat power at all.

The Skull Soldiers were different. Their exoskeleton armor could not protect every inch of them. Once their flesh was cut, they would lose combat ability quickly.

Clang!

Another slash, sparks bursting!

Bant held a shield in reverse grip and advanced through the gunfire. His right arm shifted from blade to palm, then became a cannon platform, like a honeycomb briquette. Dense crystal protrusions rose up and fired in all directions.

He alone was an entire army. Offense, defense, he could do it all.

In the dungeon, the fighters watching this turned to Korg and the Magus brothers.

"You're both silicon-based too, but compared to him, you're way behind!"

"He's basically a war god!"

"We're completely different, okay? He's green. I'm closer to black. I'm more correct," Korg said.

"Then let me ask you something." Bill pushed through the crowd and strode over, asking seriously. "Can you grow extra limbs like him?"

"Bill?"

Bill's white eyes swept across them. His protruding mouth made him look brutal. He was actually gentle, but right now, looking brutal was not a bad thing.

"Friends. It's time to change our fate!"

"What are you planning?"

"The Red King sent a large number of soldiers out of the arena to eliminate the Hacker. Right now, the Totem Tower is weaker than it's ever been. If we don't seize this chance, we may never have hope again!"

"But the Red Wind Queen…"

"The Red Wind Queen is one of ours!" Bill cut in. "More accurately, she's the Hacker's!"

"Woo~" Korg let out a flippant little sound, earning a wave of serious, annoyed stares.

"Okay, okay, I mean, revolution. Yeah!" He awkwardly pumped his fist, trying to play it off.

"What about the Obedience Discs?"

Someone asked the question everyone feared.

"As long as that thing is still on our bodies, we can never resist the Red King. No matter how many of us there are, he only needs to press a button and he can take our lives."

"I've got this!"

Bill opened his palm. A small device appeared in his hand.

"The Hacker left it to me. As long as we place it at the highest point of the Totem Tower, it can interfere with the disc signal."

The dungeon fell silent for a few seconds.

"If you're scared, I'll go alone," Bill said. "I don't expect everyone to fight, but at least help me watch for traitors!"

"Who said we won't do it!"

Xiloe immediately stood up, clenching his fists as he shouted excitedly, "For the great Son of Sakaar! Freedom is right ahead!"

"I love revolution!"

Boom!

The two stone men smashed through the dungeon's iron gate in an instant, one punch each, exploding the guards' heads!

"Pick up weapons. Charge!"

Bill gripped his giant hammer and rushed out.

It was like this in the dungeon, and the same scene unfolded everywhere else.

The resistance and the scavengers also saw their destined Son of Sakaar. Knowing the moment of fate was now, they gathered equipment, mobilized forces, and prepared to march on the capital!

And in the village near the Great Maw, Bant's battle continued.

By now, hundreds of soldiers had already fallen at his feet. For Diamond War God, who could fight without tiring, the size of an army did not mean much.

Only power beyond the limit could truly crush Diamond War God.

And someone with that kind of power was standing right in front of him!

Caiera walked slowly up to Bant. She wore a gray-blue outfit shaped like a cheongsam, with slits on both sides running up to her waist. Beneath the hem was black underlayer fabric.

Silver armor wrapped her solid thighs.

Caiera was over two meters tall. Coincidentally, Diamond War God was about the same height.

She did not strike immediately. Instead, she asked, "Are you the Hacker, or the Son of Sakaar?"

"I'm the Hacker. You can call me Diamond War God too," Bant said. "As for the Son of Sakaar, I've never heard of it. Caiera, you're Phantom Tribe too. Why are you working for the Red King?"

He had heard Luma and Brunnhilde mention Caiera. Clearly, both women had a decent impression of her. He did not understand why Caiera, who did not seem to be on the Red King's side, still obeyed him.

"I've been working for the Red King since I was thirteen." She stepped forward. Intense blue electric light burst from her body, and energy flooded her entire frame.

"Back then, the Red King was selecting the strongest and most talented Phantom Tribe warriors. And right then, that terrifying parasitic monster, Spikes, attacked our village. Everyone was turned into monsters. I was the only survivor. The Red King saved me."

For some reason, perhaps because deep down Caiera also believed Bant was the prophesied Son of Sakaar, she could not help telling him her past.

"Since then, I've had an Obedience Disc installed. I have no choice but to follow the Red King's orders."

As she spoke, her right foot stomped down. The rock beneath her shattered instantly!

Caiera's palm clenched into a fist, and she drove a heavy strike into Bant's chest.

Crack!

Arcs of electricity exploded!

Crystals shattered in an instant!

Bant crossed his arms in front of his body, but both arms were blown apart by Caiera's punch. His whole body flew backward and smashed into the rock.

"Phantom Tribe can be this strong?"

He was completely dumbfounded.

That punch felt no different from Luma's strength. If the Hulk were here, he might get slapped around too.

But by Caiera's own words, she clearly was not modified or mutated. She was simply the most talented among all Phantom Tribe.

If that was the case…

Bant sprang up with a kip-up, then, under Caiera's stunned gaze, slapped a palm against his own chest.

"Supreme Warrior!"

In an instant, green light burst forth. Then, before Caiera's eyes, Diamond War God's body vanished.

In its place stood a Phantom Tribe figure with a silver-gray body, wearing a black-and-white martial uniform.

This form had originally come from Caiera. As for the title "Supreme Warrior," he simply took it for himself.

"Phantom Tribe?" Caiera was shaken to the core.

If she had only slightly suspected Bant might be the Son of Sakaar before, now that suspicion began to root and sprout.

Bant smiled.

"You fight magic… with magic!"
