The Civil War was in full swing. There was an information leak that Rasa Massoud Rachmadi was assassinated in crossfire between Celestial Being and the mercenaries.
That caused the population to erupt and to begin arming. The majority of the conservative population lives in remote villages around the countryside.
This is where they are most radical in their ideology, seeking to remove reformists by any means necessary.
As people were preparing for war. The once-calm one of many villages was on full alert, and many men were on lookout duty, holding rifles.
Though they didn't expect a soundless spaceship slowly descending from the pitch-black darkness of the night.
A red burst of energy caused the whole village stop in its tracks. Regardless, man, woman, or child, these people stopped as red rings of energy appeared around their eyes.
They became 'zombies'. As the spaceship holding the container landed in the village, the container opened, and all of the villagers began to walk into the container's interior.
In less than a minute, the entire village was in the container. The doors closed, and the spaceship moved up and disappeared just like it appeared, without a sound.
Moments later, Union special forces moved in and 'collected' evidence that they 'cleaned up' a radical village dangerous for the current reformist government.
The same process happened in another four villages closest to the capital.
These people were moved to new facilities brought over to Azadistan, under special barriers so that no one can find them unless they stumble upon them by accident.
The facilities utilise Geass technology, where mind wipes occur. Once memories are removed, these people are moved to the South Pole, where they will be transferred to Marcus world for further 'retraining'.
The Holy Byzantine Empire prides itself on its educational abilities. These people will be tested at what they are naturally good at before being added to society as loyal citizens of the Empire.

'First night 725 people.' Marcus checked the numbers.
'Not bad, but damn… the amount of weapons they have. Holy fuck…'
The Emperor was baffled by the number of firearms his Union Forces had found.
"Here is your first report. We have arrested 725 people, among them small kids who were practising with rifles." The Commander showed the report to the Princess as they were about to have breakfast in the hotel.
Marina didn't expect to hear that first thing in the morning.
Still, she checked out; her expression paled for a second, but then she saw the zero injured or dead… A sigh of relief escaped from her lips.
"...I-Impressive, they were arrested?"
"Indeed. Sadly, we will have to move them to maximum security facilities; they are dangerous individuals for your nation and government. Even the kids and their mothers will be relocated to reeducational facilities." Marcus explained to her.
"That is for the best." Shirin joined them, looking quite fresh.
"Shirin…"
"It's for the best, Princess; those people won't hesitate to kill you. You should be happy that they won't interfere with your rule." The assistant seriously said to her.
"..." The black-haired princess looked at the plate before her for a moment before sighing in resignation.
"Very well, you have my blessing to continue."
"Wonderful. Now for some better news." He showed them a tablet with a map of the area.
"Since these villages have been 'cleaned up', my Anaheim can move in and begin assembling the first solar panels." He showed the locations.
"It won't take long, and in a matter of a few days, your city will have the first cheap electricity." He smiled a bit while saying that.
"Oh… that is wonderful." The Princess smiled back, her cheeks rosy.
What she was hearing was a massive improvement. She spent months trying to get some help for her country. But he fixed everything in a matter of a few short days.
The longer this continues, the happier she is with her decision to ask him for help.
"It is." Shirin nodded as well.
"Yes, anyway, let's eat. I have to report to the base afterwards. We are still looking for possible sightings of Celestial Being."
The moment he mentioned them, the pair had worried looks.
"Don't worry, they won't be around for long." He smiled while saying that.
"...What do you mean?" Marina asked with a concerned look.
"All three blocs are uniting against them. So, as you can imagine, they will mobilise an enormous amount of forces.
But you didn't hear that from me." Marcus winked at the Princess.
"..."
Marina didn't say anything back as she recalled a certain individual she met a while back from that organisation.
Though the Inventor Emperor ended up leaning to the side and kissing the Princess on the lips, causing her eyes to widen to a massive degree as she pulled back and looked at him with a bit of panic.
"D-Don't do that in public!" She said while looking around.
"Don't worry, my Princess, this is a secure facility." He winked at her again.
"I can do much more naughtier stuff to you, and no one will say a thing." The Commander hinted at something that sent her panic into overdrive.
"C-Can't we leave THAT to the… bedroom?" She said the last part, barely whispering. It was embarrassing just to think, and yet she had to speak it out.
"Heh, don't worry, we will discuss that in the evening."
'A-Again?'
Marina was a bit worried; they did it two days in a row, with no protection… Shirin even insisted on not using anything as she wanted a child with him. But the Princess? She is a Royal Princess of Azadistan. What would happen to her if she got pregnant?
She was worried, but sadly, she didn't realise that this was already in Marcus's plans.
The Emperor had several plans for this world. Some of them were a bit extreme, like the removal of the entire world's population.
It was a bit greedy on his part, but that plan was shelved almost entirely. The logistics of something like that are a headache.
Instead, he has scaled it down considerably, and now he will only be taking a small amount of this world's population, and might as well impregnate the Princess and have their kid rule this world as an Emperor.
He can't rule this properly anyway, being in a different dimension and all that, so might as well raise someone of his blood to do it for him.
"What is with that look?" He frowned a second, making her panic.
"N-Nothing! I will be there to greet you." Marina immediately caved in as she smiled nervously at him.
"Good, then I will see you later~" Once more, he kissed her before returning to his breakfast. A swift meal later, he left them alone as he needed to report to his post.

A bit later, after quite a boring morning, the disguised Emperor sneaked out to get some tea and pastries from one of the café shops in the capital.
Though he didn't expect to be found…
"Moh! Do you know how much trouble this whole thing was!" All of a sudden, a familiar female voice said from behind.
Marcus turned around and saw Wang Liu Mei. His newest fiancée was dressed in a sundress and classy glasses, and behind her was her brother, who looked like he was in a scuffle, even with a broken arm…
"...Shouldn't you let your brother rest?"
"I am more than capable of protecting my Mistress in this condition." He immediately replied.
"... I don't doubt that."
By this point, the Commander of Over Flags is certain that this guy would even work in a wheelchair.
"Forget about Hong Long and pay attention to me. It has been a while!" The girl strolled over to him before looking around for a good spot.
In the end, she found the same cafe where Marcus had come out.
"Let's go there." She pulled his free hand and took him in.
"Sure."
They ended up at the table in the corner, which was a two-seater. The Heiress smiled at him, as this was the perfect spot for lovely-dovely stuff she was hoping for.
"What did you mean back then?" Marcus recalled that she complained instead of greeting him.
"Exactly what I meant. This whole intervention is a mess. We failed it." She said with a sigh.
For the first time, Celestial Being failed and the armed conflict 'escalated'.
"Even then. The whole place is strange, and I know that you've been manipulating this whole region for your naughty work." The Heiress said with a bit of a grin.
"Indeed. The whole region is under tight lock as I have begun my operations." Marcus said while sipping his tea, he offered her one of his pastries.
For a second, she considered not taking this offer, but then she saw his pastry, which he had already started eating.
"I want that one." She pointed at that one.
The Emperor had a confused look for a second, but then he saw the bite marks and immediately deadpanned.
"You Chinese girls and your silly meanings…" He shook his head for a second before offering the exact area where he took a bite, and sure enough, Wang Liu Mei took a bite without hesitation, making her smirk as she started to chew.
"And you like all of that." She said, chewing the crunchy pastry.
Instead of saying anything, he took a sip of his tea and then offered it to her. Once again, the Heiress took a sip without hesitation.
"So you started with your missions. What do you want me to do? You do know that Lockon Stratos is here, and he could pick up that you… are relocating people." She said the last part in a whisper while leaning towards him.
"Yeah, I know. It's that this is the only way this could work. I do have someone watching the operations for me."
Marcus recalled a certain new Gundam that is making sure that Celestial Being can't interfere in this area.
"That is good. Just remember, don't underestimate the Gundam Meisters." She seriously reminded him. The Heiress wants him to succeed.
"I know. But this is the only way I can do my operations. I need this conflict. Thankfully, each operation doesn't last longer than a couple of minutes." Once more, he took a bite and offered it to her.
The Heiress smugly took another bite; she could get used to this—lovely dovely stuff.
"Now for the next thing."
"The operation in the Taklamakan Desert. Ptolemaios' captain looked concerned. She is worried that Celestial Being could be defeated there.
Is it in your plans?" She asked curiously.
"Don't worry, an additional Gundam Meister will make its appearance at that time," Marcus smirked. His smirk made her a bit excited. She wondered what he had in store for that operation!
"Well, I am excited to see what it will be. Anyway, do you have anything for Ptolemaios' crew?" She asked him as she was ready to leave.
"No. For now, regular operation." He replied to her, making her nod as she got up. Instead of leaving, she walked over to his side and ended up sitting on his lap, kissed him on the lips and cuddled a bit.
The girl wanted to do some extra things since she hadn't seen him for a while, and her new desires started to grow in her.
But, sadly, it's a bit busy, and she can't be seen with him. So something like this country allows her to make an appearance with how soft the protection is here with the current civil war and his troops over the place.
After a bit, the kiss was over, and she whispered into his ear.
"We should find some time to make our engagement official~" The Heiress sultry whispered before trying to get up, but Marcus's hands held her in place.
"Not without a goodbye kiss~."
"Hmph~~~ Fine~~" She moved in and kissed him one more time before he allowed her to leave.
With the catch-up done. Marcus pondered what to do next as he continued to eat his pastry and drink his tea.
With Lockon Stratos around, he can't go wild… besides, he needs to keep some people around since Marina could want to visit them.
"Ugh. Balancing this is such a drag." He complained for a second, though his mood was good after Wang Liu Mei visited, and in the evening, he would have a pair of beauties help him relax.
