Tom took out a small jade bottle.
He barely glanced at the floating description before his heart trembled.
Without hesitation, he opened the bottle.
A faint fragrance spread into the air.
Even Dumbledore felt his mind clear slightly upon smelling it.
But his expression became complicated.
He understood exactly what this meant.
This pill could repair a fragmented soul.
And Tom, in his current state, was nothing more than a fragment of a soul.
This meant one thing.
Resurrection.
Not a possibility.
A certainty.
If Tom remained as he was, Dumbledore would not fear him.
He could contain the situation and protect Hogwarts.
But if Tom returned fully…

He had expected this outcome.

Still, there was one piece of good news.
This was Tom Riddle.
Not Lord Voldemort.
"Thank you, Professor."
Tom's expression had changed.
He now seemed sharper, more complete.
His soul had returned to its peak state.
This was the Tom Riddle from before he created Horcruxes.
No instability.
No overwhelming darkness.
No uncontrollable impulses.
Instead, he felt something unfamiliar.
Freedom.
As if chains that had bound him for years had suddenly vanished.
Because of this, his gratitude was genuine.
Tom looked up at the fading text in the air.
He was already thinking about the next reward.
If his reward had been so powerful, what would Dumbledore receive?
Dumbledore also looked up, understanding Tom's thoughts.
At the same time, he felt a rare sense of anticipation.
Would it be a powerful spell?
A magical artifact?
Or a direct increase in power?
But in truth, none of those interested him as much as knowledge.
Especially knowledge from another magical system.
Previously, the rewards had not impressed him much.
