"Ahhhhhh," Goten yelled out in pain immediately after drinking the ultra divine water.
Trunks seems to be able to handle the pain better but he still has to use all his willpower to hold it in and stop himself from screaming.
"Do you think they will be alright?" Yajirobe asked.
"I don't know, maybe I should not have given them the water," Korin replied.
The fat guy was not exaggerating. This really tastes like poison. I can't even feel my tongue anymore. My stomach, .... No. My entire body feels like it's burning. Goten thought.
But he was aware that both he and Trunks were becoming stronger over time.
Then suddenly, the pain went away and his eyelids started to feel heavy.
"No. I can't." Goten wanted to hold on and stop himself from losing consciousness but he was unable to.
He was not sure if he lost his consciousness right now he would be able to wake up again.
"Goten." "Hey, kid," Trunks and Yajirobe quickly check up on him as Goten fell to the ground.
"I will go and get the dragon radar," Yajirobe said to Korin.
Korin nodded and he then approached Goten to check up on him.
Yajirobe then prepared to descend from the tower, but Korin stopped him before he could.
"Wait," Korin said as he put his hand on Goten's body where his heart might be located.
"His heart is still beating." He said.
Then he checked to see if the boy was still breathing and realised the boy had just fallen asleep.
"He just fell asleep from exhaustion. He isn't dead yet." Korin said.

"What happened?" Goten said as he woke up in a bed.
Where am I? He thought as he looked around, realising he was in a bed.
He got up and looked around.
"Oh. You are awake." A dark-skinned man who looked like a genie said as he entered the room that Goten was in with a tray which has a glass of water on it.
"Here. Dende asked me to give this to you." The man said.
"You must be Mr Popo," Goten said.
He nodded as he placed the glass of water on the table near the bed where Goten was.
His ki. Why is it so high? Goten thought as he realised that Mr Popo is stronger than him and he might need Super Saiyan if he wanted to keep up with him.
Wait. I have become stronger after drinking the ultra divine water. So that means he might even be stronger than me even if I am using Super Saiyan before I drink the water. Goten thought as he looked at Mr Popo in shock.
Wait I also sense Trunks's ki nearby and another large power level. If I am at the lookout that probably means that's Piccolo. But still, it's kind of surprising that he got stronger than me after he drank the water. Is his potential that much higher than mine? Goten thought as he got out of his bed. It
He then walked towards the door to exit the room that he was in.
"...." The tall green-skinned man who was wearing a purple gi turns his back to look at Goten who has just exited the room.
He must be Piccolo. He looked a lot scarier than I thought. Goten thought in his mind.
"Oh, thank goodness you are alright." a shorter green-skinned boy said as he approached Goten alongside Trunks.
Then this must be the new guardian of the earth after Kami. Dende was it. Well, at least he doesn't look scary like Piccolo. Goten thought as he looked at Dende.
"Oh. Goten. Do you believe that? This guy is the guardian of the earth despite looking like he is the same age as us." Trunks said as he pointed to Dende and Goten.
"Hey. Kid. Dande is many years older than you and is the new guardian of the earth. It's just that he ages more slowly than humans." Piccolo said to Trunks.
"Ah, I see." Trunks replied as he scratched his head.
That reminds me that, from what I know Trunks and I are not going to get taller for a while just like Dende. I need to find a way around that too. Goten was reminded of an important detail because of Trunks and Piccolo's conversation.
"You really look like Gohan," Dende said as he observed Goten.
"That's different. I have only heard that I look like my late dad. This is the first time I have heard I looked like my brother." Goten said.
"I am Goten." He then extended his hand towards Dende.
"I am Dende." Dende shook Goten's hand.
Piccolo and Trunks looked at the two while having a small smile on their faces.
"Still you both are pretty strong for your ages. You might be even stronger than Gohan two years ago." Piccolo said as he looked at Trunks.
Of course, Piccolo was excluding Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 form when he made the statement and was just talking about Gohan's and Trunks' base power level.
And the other kid's power level is also not bad. Even I might not be able to beat him. Piccolo thought as he took a glance at Goten.
But still, they are a bit overdoing it. Even Gohan wasn't that strong at their age. It looks like those two are doing nothing but training. Piccolo thought in his mind.

Although he didn't dislike the fact that Goten and Trunks are so determined to become stronger he still thinks that they should not be under the same pressure that Gohan had in his youth.
Piccolo was certain that if Gohan was serious and locked in there was nothing that could threaten the earth. So Goten and Trunks are training very hard is not very necessary as long as Gohan is around.
