(Jin wakes up from that memory of his past only to find himself in a pitch black void again when the red light from its center expands rapidly consuming him within it as a loud voice calls out to him causing the endless realm shake and tremble, Jin looks behind him and is shocked to see a menacing giant red dragon emanating pure destructive energy forcing him to fall to his hands and knees in the face of such almighty power)
Gandora: you brat you've been using my power so recklessly your actually useless
Jin: what are you talking about your power you stupid dragon
Gandora: YOU LOWLY HUMAN…YOU DARE HAVE SUCH ARRAGANCE THAT YOU WOULD SPEAK LIKE THAT TO THE DRAGON GOD OF DESTRUCTION GANDORA
Jin: what you're no god all you are is an overgrown lizard and if this really your power then the absolute least you can do is help me use it better so i can protect Hikari and Hana!!!
Gandora: if all you want is more power then simply allow me to consume your life force while you are using my strength, that's such a small price to pay if it means saving your loved ones
(in that moment jin wakes up in his bed with hikari laying atop his chest once again, tears streaming down her face as she holds him tight enough to crush a car yet it had no effect on him as he hugged her back)
Hikari: jin you dummy stop scaring me like that
Jin: I'm sorry…did we at least win the fight
Hikari: yes we did but why do you need to keep leaving me behind when it comes to strength
Reggie: hey Jin while you were asleep i heard something interesting it sounds like there is a tournament coming up in kyoto we should sign up
Jin: Wait, really? That sounds amazing when does it start
Reggie: it starts in 3 days on saturday the 14th apparently the winning prize is a sacred treasure
Jin: what's that ive never heard of it
Hikari: how have you never heard of them… sacred treasures are relics formed in S class dungeons by defeating the dungeon bosses normally only captain class slayers are strong enough to claim them
Jin: well then why the hell are they giving something so special away for a tournament
Reggie: perhaps they don't have enough aura to wield it and might think it's worth the money gained by hosting a tournament
Hikari: hey you 2 idiots aren't leaving me out this time got it i have just as much of a chance at winning as either of you
(they rest for a couple hours, showering, eating breakfast and various other morning routines before heading to the training area to get ready for the tournament. Due to his dream with Gandora he has wanted to try something different. Jin imagines the feeling his body experiences when the black markings grow along his skin focusing on his inner flow forcing all the black markings into his right arm where a small ball of purple energy spawns in the palm of his hand making him immediately start straining just to stand up)
Jin: DAMMIT ITS SOO HEAVY.
(as Jin is about to collapse from the weight of the purple orb of raw energy the black markings spread along his arm covering the right half of his face and eye the sudden surge of power makes him capable of standing up perfectly fine however there is a completely different inflection on his face the eye on his right side glowing a deep crimson)
Jin: ah yes this boy's body is a perfect host for my power… although the way he is using it will end up killing himself, who knew that he would release so much negative energy the very day after our agreement.
(with a flick of the wrist the purple orb dissipates into nothing, the black markings recede and jin is left breathing heavily)
Jin: what… I did not go berserk this time. That's amazing. I'm actually showing some progress. But I won't be satisfied until I can make this power my own.
Hikari: Jin are you ok what happened
Reggie: wow that was amazing your power went up so much higher im so excited please fight me again
Jin: sure after all we do need to push ourselves past our limits if we want to ensure we can win that prize
Hikari:(punches Reggie in the back of the head) is that seriously all you ever think about you idiot!!!
Reggie:hey just because i like fighting strong people doesn't mean you need to degrade me for it
Jin: Hey guys, why don't we have a 3 way fight so we can all improve.
