Goku: Well it's not like I can move from my spot. Would you be so kind to speak into their heads on our behalf and ask them to join us as quickly as possible? *Goku voiced bluntly.*
King Kai: *He seemed slightly taken off guard by Goku's bluntness.* I... I suppose I could do that. I'll reach out to Trunks and Gohan immediately. They'll have a lot of questions though.
Goku: They know more than you might think. *Goku said, his muscles bulging as the fissure that he's holding together cracks some more. Goku gritted his teeth, veins standing out on his neck as the golden cocoon fought back against his grip.* Come on... hold it together...
The crack widened slightly, a thin beam of raw energy lancing out and scorching the earth nearby—burning a trench deep into rock. Suddenly, two blurs shot through the night sky—Trunks and Gohan arriving in an instant, their expressions sharp with alarm.
Trunks: Dad, what the hell is happening? Is that Goten's ki that I sense? *Trunks asked twin questions.*
Vegeta: *He didn't turn his head, but growled through clenched teeth.* Yes. And if you don't get over here and help now, your best friend—and half this planet—will be reduced to stardust.
Gohan: Damned Goten! What did you get yourself into this time around? *Gohan asked as he flew over to a slowly growing crack that needs instant assistance. Gohan placed both hands on the crack, gritting his teeth as raw energy surged against his palms.* Kami... this is intense! It feels like holding back a supernova!
Trunks: *He didn't hesitate—he flew to another fissure, pressing both hands flat against the shimmering golden surface. The energy burned through his gloves instantly.* Agh—! Dad, are we seriously supposed to hold this together with our bare hands?!
Vegeta: Yes Trunks, energy would only rapture it quicker.
Trunks: *He bites back a curse, clenching his jaw as he focused every ounce of his strength into keeping the crack stable.* Right... no energy. Just muscle and stubbornness. Got it.
Gohan: *Eyes narrowed as he fought against the pulsing force.* We can't keep this up forever… What's happening in there? What did they do?
Vegeta: Use your imagination, brainiac. *His answer came stoicly.*
Gohan: *He shot Vegeta a sharp look, but realization dawned on his face—his expression shifting from confusion to horror.* No… You don't mean…?
Trunks: *He glanced between them, sweat rolling down his temple.* Wait, what? What's happening down there?!
Vegeta: Surely I didn't raise an idiot, Trunks! *Vegeta spat sharply. He rolls his eyes, before saying annoyingly.* Would you like me to give you a lesson on the birds and the bees?
Trunks: *Prince Vegeta's eldest bristled with indignation, cheeks flushing red.* I know about the birds and the bees, you jerk! I'm old enough!
Gohan tried and failed to hide a smirk, glancing between Trunks and Vegeta. This, apparently, was not the time for an argument. He pressed harder against the crack, the energy surging against his hands with renewed fervor.
Gohan: Well that's what's currently happening down there. *Gohan told Trunks calmly, clearly more patient than Vegeta.*
