"You still have the time to think?!" The snake female whipped her tail again, and this time, I wasn't planning to just jump since I knew she had figured out my pattern and would try to counter my jump.
So, I threw myself at the wall, my claws still dug out to keep me hooked to the top part, near the ceiling.
"Tsk," she clicked her tongue. "Are you a roach instead of a tiger after all?"
"Ah, that's an insult. And I don't like it." My eyes darkened. "You'll pay for that,"
Then, acting like I was lunging towards her, I raised my hand to scratch, but just when she reached her clawed hands to counter me, I grinned and twisted my body, getting underneath her arms and sliding down the floorboard.
I didn't wait to recover from the scrape on my thigh. Didn't even feel any stinging pain yet and hurried to the door.
"Where do you think you're going?!" She flared and came after me, but this was the plan. I had to get her out of the nursery and give this little pup the opportunity to run.
