On a small moon within the Zanbar System, Kray only had some rations, a communicator, and the hilt of a dark saber hanging from his waist, but strange bracelets appeared on both of his wrists.
These were energy blades, replicated by the adjutant based on God Race wrist-mounted emitters, which could only be activated by Force and served merely as decorative items in daily life.
This moon harbored various creatures highly dangerous to humans. To create a new colony for people and to temper his own strength, Kray chose to eliminate all overly aggressive animals on this planet.
Riding his speeder bike through the forest, according to previous reports, three-meter-tall cannibalistic creatures lived there. Kray decided to deal with these first.
Kray deliberately made some noise, hoping to attract these creatures. Soon, a gigantic four-meter-tall Kray dragon roared out of the forest.
Its six legs charged towards Kray's location with incredible speed. Its mere roar could scare some animals into lying still on the ground or feigning death.
Kray smiled at the sight of the enormous Kray dragon. If it wasn't such a large creature, it might not survive long against him. He decided to test out these energy blades!
Kray flicked his hands, revealing blue energy blades on his arms, and charged towards the giant monster before him.
The Kray dragon let out a terrifying hiss, its three crimson compound eyes fixed on the tiny 'insect' before it. It raised its massive forelimbs and swung them down at Kray.
The colossal forelimb slammed down, creating a deep crater in the ground, sending soil and wood fragments scattering. But Kray was no longer in that spot. He leaped onto its forelimb in a single bound, observing the monster.
"Too slow. Now it's my turn." Kray then plunged the energy blade directly into the forelimb he was standing on.
The energy blade pierced directly through the Kray dragon's hard exoskeleton and into its flesh, causing the Kray dragon to roar deafeningly in pain, determined to kill this individual who threatened its dominance!
The Kray dragon fully stood up, attacking Kray with its forelimbs and middle limbs, but Kray parried all attacks with incredible speed. In a moment of opportunity, he completely severed the Kray dragon's middle limb.
Ow!
The Kray dragon's movements became even more sluggish due to the injury. It made its final struggles.
"This is what I've been waiting for." Kray found a huge opening and leaped up. The Kray dragon's forelimbs were raised high, leaving a massive gap.
A blue light flashed as the Kray dragon and Kray passed each other. Kray landed lightly on the ground, his back to the Kray dragon, and the light blades on his wrists extinguished.
The Kray dragon's massive body stiffened for a moment. Then, a burning line appeared on its head, extending to its entire body. Instantly, its colossal form split in two, falling to the ground evenly divided.
Then, Kray's hands gathered immense energy, which erupted outwards. In an instant, both the Kray dragon and half the forest were annihilated by this Force shockwave.
"It's still not enough." Kray felt the power in his body. This was not his limit; he needed stronger monsters to fight him and allow him to unleash his full potential.
Kray spent a long time on this moon. During this period, nothing major happened in the Galaxy. Every three months, someone would pick him up to return to Vadir so he could understand the Galaxy.
The Mandalorians also began a form of expansion. On various planets in the Outer Rim, they started searching for unwanted children or people seeking a new path in life to join Mandalorian clans.
Within Mandalorian clans, your race did not determine if you were Mandalorian, as Mandalorians were not limited to just humans.
In 34 BBY, Kray returned to that asteroid once again. He had already eliminated eighty percent of the animals on that planet that posed a significant threat to Mandalore, with only one remaining in the desert. By now, his comprehension of The Force and psionics was nearing completion.
He had completely controlled his energy, with no overflow, approaching perfection. This was now the final challenge.
In the boundless golden desert, the scorching temperature distorted the air. Kray stood on the desert, cloaked in a hood, and the sand surface trembled at Kray's arrival. It was The Force; he was interfering with the entire desert.
A fully grown Krayt Dragon burst out of the sand sea. Its mountain-like size declared who was the king of this sand sea, and its thick hide was enough to withstand blaster fire.
It let out a deafening roar.
"Why do they all start with this move?" Kray wondered why all beasts roared first. Was it a warm-up?
The Krayt Dragon's eyes, full of curiosity and malice, stared at Kray before it. It submerged itself into the sand sea.
It charged with a speed completely unsuited to its massive body. Its huge claws slammed down with destructive power. Kray did not dodge; transparent Force shields appeared all around him.
"Boom!"
The claws and shields collided violently, creating a deafening sound. The impact spread outwards in a circular wave, raising sand waves like a tsunami.
Even though Kray's ankles were submerged in sand, his figure stood firm, and the shields rippled but showed no damage at all.
The Krayt Dragon was enraged. It roared to the sky and attacked again, suddenly emerging from beneath Kray, attempting to swallow Kray and his shields directly.
The acidic mucus in the air continuously corroded the shield, but Kray remained completely unfazed. He used its tongue to leap out, once again thwarting the Krayt Dragon's plan.
"If that's all you've got, I'm going to attack now." Kray smiled, and his figure instantly vanished, reappearing at the Krayt Dragon's neck.
The energy in his hands was at the point of immediate eruption. He pushed it out fiercely, and destructive energy annihilated the Krayt Dragon's flesh.
The massive body twisted wildly, trying to escape the pain. The Force Storm burned the Krayt Dragon's body, and it lunged forward again recklessly.
"Stop!" As Kray spoke these words, the Krayt Dragon, which had leaped into the air to swallow Kray, instantly froze. Kray controlled the Krayt Dragon's colossal body with The Force.
As the Krayt Dragon stopped moving and opened its mouth wide, Kray no longer hid. Purple light once again flared in his eyes, and The Force around him instantly surged to its limit, like a purple sun.
Mobilizing all the energy in his body, transforming it into its purest and most destructive form, a Force shockwave erupted from Kray, seemingly tearing through the surrounding space, and rushed into the Krayt Dragon's mouth.
The shockwave passed through the Krayt Dragon's body without hindrance, then immediately dissolved into ashes. The sand around Kray transformed into crystals, then instantly vanished into nothingness.
This sound attracted more Krayt Dragons. Subsequently, each dragon was eliminated by a single shockwave.
"Finally, it's done." Kray had completed his training. He was now completely different from the Kray of several years ago. During these years, he continuously learned new skills, mastered them, and ultimately achieved complete control over his power.
(This chapter is set to quickly skip time. Otherwise, nothing major happened in the Galaxy during those five or six years, so it was skipped.)
