At the end of March, Sophie barged into Eugene's apartment and decided that her friend needed some sunlight.
"I got some every time I go to the kindergarten," Eugene argued.
"It doesn't count!" Sophie shook her head while rubbing Eugene's dark circles. "What are you doing to your pretty face, huh? Why are you going back to this sleepless ghost mode when you don't have to worry about money at the moment?"
Ghost...
Eugene almost flinched in self-awareness. Did he try so hard to ghost someone that he almost became a ghost himself? He chuckled nervously at his nagging friend. "You know me; I pour all my focus into the project once I work on it," he shrugged.
