"W-what should I bring?"
After waiting around for agonizing five days, Arthur could barely contain himself the moment Allen informed him of Eugene's decision.
He was allowed to see the little princess!
After begging Allen and Sophie, Arthur had been waiting with bated breath. He could barely fall asleep, as his mind kept imagining Eugene's situation back then, which he found out through Sophie.
He knew how hard it was for someone to give birth--well, he didn't actually know, but he had witnessed how hard it was for Shirley. If it was that painful and miserable while having an entire support system, how much harder was it if one was alone?
Arthur simply couldn't imagine it.
He was still miserable even with supportive grandparents, cousins, and friends, but Eugene was alone. Arthur could only feel grateful that the Care Center took him and that Sophie found him.
He felt guilty. He felt angry with himself--and if he did, Eugene must have been as well.
