"Honestly, I was probably angrier with him than with my alpha father."
When he heard Eugene's words, Arthur couldn't help but widen his eyes. While Eugene wasn't an alpha-hater, it was clear that he had animosity toward the majority of alphas in the world. Naturally, it was surprising to hear he despised his omega father more than his alpha father.
Eugene smiled at the alpha's reaction. "Weird, isn't it?"
Arthur parted his lips, but quickly pressed them together again as he fell deep in thought. "Is it..." he muttered after a minute. "Is it because you feel betrayed?"
"Yeah..."
Eugene smiled bitterly. Just like how getting abandoned by an ally was harder than getting hit by an enemy, it felt harder not to receive help from the one he expected help from. With his father and brothers, he always knew deep down that the possibility of them taking his side was almost none.
He was angry at those alphas, but he was especially hurt by the only other omega in the family.
