"Waaaah!"
Hannah immediately dashed into the yard as soon as her daddy finished fastening her boots. While the front yard was decorated with a beautiful garden, the living room patio opened onto a wide backyard with neatly trimmed green grass. Hannah was trembling in happiness when she saw it, and kept wiggling her legs even when her papa said she should let the meal digest a little bit first.
There was nothing on there but grass, no equipment or children's toys--but that was exactly why it was superior. This empty yard was why Allen and Sophie used to come over to play all the time. The energetic children could just run around pretending they were adventurers all they wanted; they could set up a tent and pretend they were camping for real; they could bring out their toys and craft supplies and do everything they wanted.
