Eugene thought back to the conversation they had had a while ago.
One of Arthur's dreams was to go around the world, following the scenes of music, and create his own masterpiece. As someone who had heard some of the alpha's compositions, Eugene could tell that Arthur had the talent and the hard work to balance it. Naturally, he wanted to see the alpha climb to a higher peak and reached his potential.
But marriage...
Marriage would mean a higher level of responsibility upon his family. He would legally become Hannah's guardian, which meant he wouldn't be able to leave the country for too long at a time. He couldn't even bring Hannah with him if he wanted, because of her untrained hypersensitivity.
