"Why don't you just stay with me?"
The moment those words left Eugene's mouth, Ian felt his heart tremble. Cold wind blew across his nape as if someone was stomping over his future grave, even while his heart was warm with happiness. It was as if his legs were dancing between heaven and hell at the same time.
"Yujin..."
"Don't bother to return, just stay here," Eugene said again before Ian could say anything. "We can buy more clothes for you; we can just buy everything you need here. It might be a hassle to take care of your passport and everything, but--"
"Yujin, Yujin..." Ian quickly held his son's hand before his heart gave way even more. "It's not that easy."
"Why? Why not?" Eugene turned his body to face the older omega. "You heard me last night--we're going to buy a house, a bigger one, with more bedrooms. You can stay there--Arthur said he doesn't mind."
