From the moment he woke up on Monday, Eugene was filled with anxiety. He checked his phone every five minutes, and as jumpy as a deer the whole day.
Arthur wanted to tell the omega to stay at home and rest, but he realized letting Eugene idling away would only make the omega stressed out even more. Because of this, he decided to bring Eugene to his apartment and have the omega play his games while he worked inside his soundproof room--naturally, he didn't close the door.
He had to let go of one of his saved files because Eugene accidentally overwrote it, but the green eyes were more alive out of an awakened competitive spirit, so it was a worthy sacrifice.
Involving Eugene heavily in their lunch-making also helped push stray thoughts away from his mind, although Arthur was the one getting stressed from some weird ideas and 'shortcuts' that Eugene occasionally threw in the middle of cooking.
