According to Sophie, the first parent-teacher meeting was important, especially in Glory. It was when the parents formally met for the first time, as well as watching the dynamic of their children in the class. This was where parents exchanged contacts and created a group chat, as well as did some networking.
The event lasted for a whole day, starting with observing the morning class, where children's participation was high. It would be followed by a face-to-face meeting with the homeroom teacher to talk about their child's performance, and a luncheon so they knew their children's meal was good enough.
Generally, parent-teacher meetings like this only require one parent to attend. For this first event, however, both parents were encouraged to attend together to boost the children's morale.
