"Do you think I should drink some meds to make sure I won't go into heat this month?" Eugene asked his fiance one night, after Arthur returned from his studio.
"Don't; it's risky," Arthur replied right away, frowning as he took his sweater off. "We don't know how your body will handle it. What if you get sick instead?"
"Hmm..."
Well, Arthur was right. He didn't even take any heat medicine during his previous heats, since it was quite mild. All he drank was a paracetamol to help with his fever. He'd sleep it off and woke up feeling okay, just waiting for his heat to be over.
Certainly, consuming a drug he had never had before would be risky. "I guess getting into heat is better than getting sick on D-day," Eugene said while pulling Arthur's pajamas out of the closet.
"Besides, we're going to get our pheromone extracted for the injection," Arthur said. "Let's not mess with our systems for now."
"Yeah, I guess..."
