Arthur and Eugene slumped into the car seat, closing their eyes while exhaling heavily. They knew the immigration process would be more complicated this time, but they didn't think it would be that complicated.
The briefcase alone already had them go through a different channel, and even with all the paperwork they brought, the interview lasted for almost thirty minutes. The airport side had to check the authenticity of the paperwork first, calling the lab and the registry office to make sure. The briefcase had to be inspected thoroughly to make sure it was really pheromones and not some other questionable substance.
It was rare, but it seemed like there were cases of people smuggling illegal substances by disguising them as pheromone extracts for perfume or some research. There were also cases of drugs made of pheromone extract, like aphrodisiacs and stuff, being smuggled openly by forging a research slip or a bonding permit.
