"Art?" Eugene wiped the tears off the lapha's cheeks. Even though Arthur didn't look like he was going to have a panic attack, he still felt worried. "Art, can you—"
And before he could say anything more, he was already pulled into a tight embrace. Since Arthur was sitting on the wooden bench, he had no choice but to sit on the alpha's lap—unless he wanted to get suspended in a weird position. It was a bit embarrassing to do in such a public place, so it was good that all his focus was only available for his husband at that moment.
"Does it work?" Eugene asked gently, caressing the brown hair. He could feel the alpha's tears seeping into his linen shirt. "You don't look sick, so...does it mean you can't smell anyone else?"
