Glamour World.
A pink expanse unfolded.
Gigantic floating candies drifted through the sky. Wooden cottages spun lazily in midair. Plush dolls and toy-like structures filled the horizon. It was whimsical. Fantastical.
This was Dorothy's Dream Magic.
Anything from the outside world—objects, living beings—could be forcibly transferred into this realm. And here, within this space, Dorothy could manifest anything her imagination conceived.
Among the nine Magic Knight captains, she was one of the rare few who wielded a form of Underworld-tier magic.
The moment Yuuki and the others vanished from the outside world—
They had already arrived here.
Yuuki's eyes sharpened as he took in the scenery.
So, this was their plan.
The coordinated assault hadn't been meant to injure him—it had been to restrict him. To lock onto his position. To forcibly drag him into the Dream World.
Wait—
Yuuki's expression shifted abruptly.
The captains' attacks had never stopped.
The instant they appeared in the Dream World, their spells continued hurtling toward the space where Yuuki had vanished.
"Appear."
Dorothy's clear, almost playful voice echoed from above.
In the next instant—
Yuuki's permeation state was forcibly dispelled.
His figure materialized.
And every single captain's devastating attack arrived at the same time.
No escape.
A flawless execution formed by perfect coordination.
It was also proof of how much pressure Yuuki had put on them.
"It's over, brat!"
Mereoleona roared.
Her flaming fist brushed Yuuki's cheek.
Victory gleamed in the captains' eyes.
One direct hit—
Even if he survived, he would be finished.
Yet—
Within her Mana Zone, Mereoleona sensed something wrong.
Yuuki's earlier surprise had vanished.
The corner of his lips lifted—just slightly.
Her heart skipped.
"Meow~"
A soft, childish cat's cry echoed.
BOOM! BOOM!
All the captains' attacks missed.
Not just missed—
They slid past Yuuki entirely and crashed into the surrounding captains instead.
Explosions thundered across the Dream World.
Smoke dispersed.
The captains were forced back.
And at the center—
Yuuki stood untouched.
Nozel's neatly combed silver hair was disheveled, but he didn't even notice.
"Did our attacks misfire? That's impossible."
One person missing was an accident.
Everyone missing was not.
Yami's gaze fell on the red cat floating above Yuuki's head.
His pupils shrank.
"…Vanessa's Fate Magic. When did he get that?"
Only Asta, Yuno, Licht, and Lumiere had seen Yuuki use it during the devil battle. The others had no idea.
"How does it work, outsider?!" Nozel demanded, mercury forming blades around him.
Yami exhaled deeply.
"It alters the user's fate… toward a favorable outcome."
His voice was hoarse.
"We've got a serious problem."
Jack clicked his tongue. "That's ridiculous."
Fuegoleon spoke calmly. "A spell that powerful must have a weakness."
Yami remembered what Vanessa once said.
"It burns through mana like crazy."
Silence.
"The only way," he finished grimly, "is to exhaust his mana completely."
Which was almost meaningless.
If they could drain Yuuki dry, they'd already have won.
Clap. Clap.
Yuuki applauded lightly.
"To devise such flawless coordination so quickly… truly impressive. As expected of the kingdom's finest captains."
The praise grated on them.
"How arrogant," Yami muttered.
"Then we'll fight until he's empty," Mereoleona declared without hesitation.
Their spirits reignited.
They were the kingdom's strongest.
They would not yield.
Dorothy's childish face grew serious.
"If it's a battle of endurance… I'll help."
Pink mana surged from her body.
"Come forth!"
The Dream World trembled.
Figures began forming everywhere.
In seconds—
The Dream World was filled with countless copies of the nine captains.
And—
Dozens of Yuukis.
Every direction.
Every presence radiating immense mana.
Dorothy had created endless replicas—perfect in appearance.
Yuuki paused.
Even among Underworld-tier magic… the difference in scale was staggering.
Dorothy's face had gone pale.
But she smiled brightly.
"Attack!"
"CHARGE!!!"
The battle cry shook the entire Dream World.
It nearly ruptured Yuuki's ears.
The real captains hid among their replicas.
Dozens of Mereoleonas appeared around Yuuki, fists blazing.
Searching for the real ones was pointless—
A tidal wave of magic swallowed everything.
Yuuki's expression turned cold.
"Don't waste the mana I gave you."
"Warm-up's over."
"Key Magic!"
He spread his arms.
Green portals materialized behind him.
Dozens.
Hundreds.
They formed a massive wall of spatial gates.
The incoming sea of magic was devoured instantly.
Dozens of Mereoleonas reached him.
Yuuki grabbed two fists mid-strike.
"Dorothy can't replicate your full strength."
He spun them like windmills, smashing into the surrounding copies.
Then—
CRASH.
He slammed the two together.
They dissolved into pink smoke.
"And you think I can't find the real one?"
Mana detection alone was tricky.
But reading ki—
That was different.
He locked onto her instantly.
BOOM!
Their fists collided.
"You've grown stronger!" Mereoleona roared.
"Warm-up's over," Yuuki replied calmly.
Copies continued striking him—
He ignored them.
Knees collided.
Shockwaves exploded.
"You're slow now," Yuuki said.
He seized her wrists and hurled her through the copies.
Behind him—
Hundreds of portals glowed brighter.
Energy brewed within.
"Returning everything."
He swung his arm.
BOOOOOM!!!
All stored spells erupted at once—
Enhanced.
Amplified.
The Dream World turned into a kaleidoscope of annihilation.
Replicas were wiped out instantly.
The real captains reappeared—
More battered than before.
Fuegoleon exhaled.
"He's fully mastered Conrad's Key Magic."
His voice carried rare fatigue.
Raw mana strength didn't discourage them.
Skill gaps didn't discourage them.
They could feel it—
Yuuki's mana control was crude.
His combat finesse lacking.
But—
His spells were absurd.
Overwhelming.
It was power crushing technique.
For the first time—
They understood what commoners felt when facing nobles.
Yuuki raised his finger.
"Dream World… shatter."
The portals fused into a single corridor.
He touched the first.
It shattered into energy.
Then the second.
Third.
Until all had broken—
Their energy condensed at his fingertip.
A beam of pure magic erupted.
The Dream World shattered.
—
Outside.
The kingdom watched in silence.
Then—
Seven or eight minutes later—
CRACK.
The captains fell from midair.
One by one.
Yuuki followed.
He stood upright.
Uninjured.
The kingdom froze.
William rose first.
"Is everyone alright?"
He exhaled softly.
"This battle isn't only for the kingdom."
"It's for everyone watching us."
"As long as I stand, none of you will fall."
His voice was gentle—
But unwavering.
