Chapter 222 - Chapter 221 Ryan: This time, we'll trust the second brother's judgment.

Second Legion Flagship 'Mujihad', Operations Briefing Room.

Sarradin stood before the holographic projection map in the center of the briefing room, clad in his black and gold armor, his face grim.

Around the edges of the room were several Legion Honor Guard, officers, and savants, while seated around the table were some of his brothers: Lion ElJonson, Leman Russ, and Gaius.

Sarradin cleared his throat, scanned the room, his gaze lingering on each of his brothers' faces for a moment. He tapped the console with his finger, and the holographic projection displayed a 3D model of the Xenos Race homeworld, surrounded by dense defensive satellites and fleets.

"My brothers, the enemy before us is a remnant of a catastrophe," Sarradin's voice was low and powerful, carrying the unique authority of a commander. "The Xenos Race were severely wounded in two purges, but their adaptability is astonishing. This time, they have not only recovered their strength but have also combined stolen Imperial technology with their own bio-technology, forming an unprecedentedly powerful Xenos alliance."

He gently slid his finger, and the holographic map zoomed out to the outer regions of the Xenos Race homeworld, showing the distribution of the Xenos fleet and defensive structures.

"We must strike at their Core with precision, otherwise, their expansion will be like a virus, dragging the Northern Galaxy back into the abyss."

Lion ElJonson nodded slightly and spoke calmly:

"The defensive satellites are dense, and the fleet deployment is orderly. This is not typical Xenos style; it's more like they are led by a highly intelligent command entity. Remember, we are not facing a simple biological species, but... a war machine just like the Imperium's."

"Then what are we waiting for?" Russ grinned, revealing a mouthful of white teeth, his eyes gleaming with battle intent. "Break through their perimeter directly, a wolf-fang tactic, cut into the Core, and tear that so-called 'machine' to shreds."

"Sixth Brother, you're always so direct." Gaius chuckled softly, turning his gaze to the map, marking several key points with his finger.

"The Xenos Race homeworld's perimeter is heavily fortified with artificial war satellites and fleet Cores. These satellites do not operate independently; I've analyzed their energy fluctuations, and there's a main control node. The fleet's layout is clearly designed to buy time, waiting for the main control node's weapons to activate."

He pointed to a bright spot: "Here... the Xenos Race's main control hub, located in the polar region of their homeworld. If my Legion can hack into it, we can disable the main control node, all the war satellites will be paralyzed, and their fleet coordination will become chaotic."

Sarradin stepped forward and pointed to several areas on the map.

"brothers, this is our tactical plan: a three-step advance, progressively compressing the Xenos Race's defensive space."

Phase One, Orbital Campaign:

Lion will lead the Dark Angels Legion's fleet to spearhead the orbital campaign. They will be responsible for breaking through the Xenos Race fleet's defenses and destroying the outer defensive satellites.

Sarradin added: "First Brother, I need your fleet to cooperate with the mortal fleet, forcing the Xenos Race fleet towards the main control node's vicinity, maximizing the weakening of their defensive layout."

Lion nodded, his expression as stern as ever. "Don't worry, I will turn the enemy's fleet defenses into orbital debris."

Phase Two, Ground Landing:

Russ and the Space Wolves Legion will lead the initial assault onto the Xenos Race homeworld's surface, destroying outer strongholds and clearing the enemy's main ground forces.

Russ laughed heartily: "Now this is my strong suit!"

Sarradin turned to Russ, his tone gentle but firm: "Sixth Brother, your assault is crucial. But remember, this time the enemy is not only vast in number but also possesses unknown biochemical weapons and slave armies. Do not underestimate them."

Phase Three: Core Destruction

Gaius and his Dragon Guard Legion will be responsible for leading the automated forces, directly attacking the main control node. Through technological superiority, they will use long-range strikes and engineering sabotage to destroy the node facilities.

Gaius smiled: "Leave this to me and my 'little helpers'. You handle the battlefield, I'll make sure those satellites and nodes turn into scrap metal."

Sarradin made the final mark on the map: "My Legion will serve as central command. I will disperse my Legion to draw fire for you, while the mortal forces will be responsible for stabilizing the front lines and logistical support. The Xenos Race's counterattack will surely be fierce, we must cooperate seamlessly."

"But the Xenos Race still has a trump card." Lion broke the brief silence, pointing to a blurry area on the holographic map. "We haven't yet clarified what their ultimate weapon is. Given their mimicry capabilities, it's highly likely they have already replicated some of the Imperium's cutting-edge technology."

"So we must act quickly." Sarradin responded calmly. "Prolonged engagement will only give them more time to perfect their weapons."

Russ licked his lips: "I don't care what their weapon is, once I get in front of them, it'll be nothing."

Gaius pondered for a moment, then suddenly interjected: "However, I have another suggestion."

Sarradin looked up: "What suggestion?"

Gaius pointed to the other side of the map: "I can send out an automated assault team, using stealthy disguised ships to bypass the enemy's rear and strike at the Xenos Race's resource supply chain. This will force them to disperse their attention."

Lion raised an eyebrow and said blandly: "While your little gadgets are impressive, what if they lose control? Don't forget, The Eleventh Brother, Father explicitly forbade you from dabbling in those Dark Age of Technology contraptions."

Gaius showed a confident smile: "Don't worry, First Brother, you know that everything I use openly now is safe."

Sarradin put away the map and turned to his brothers, saying:

"We are humanity's strongest warriors; our destiny is to protect humanity's future. In this battle, we must completely eliminate the Xenos Race threat."

Sarradin extended his hand, and the three Primarchs also placed theirs on top.

At this moment, Russ, seeing Lion also join in, began to joke again: "Oh! Why is our big Lion so sociable today?"

Gaius, seeing the impending trouble, immediately intended to get between the two of them, lest Lion land another punch that truly hospitalized Russ; that would be ridiculous.

But Lion said dismissively: "This time, we'll trust the Second Son's judgment..."

"Pfft ~" The expressions on Russ and Gaius's faces began to become interesting, and then Russ put his arm around Gaius and started laughing heartily.

"Hahahahaha! You... hahahaha!"

Sarradin's face was utterly dark at this point; he now suspected he should be the eldest, as hardly any of his brothers were adults!

Seeing the two laughing, Lion also turned his head to look at Sarradin:

"The Second Son? Is there a problem with what I said?"

Hearing this, Gaius's mouth was almost unable to hold back his smile; his First Brother's level of culture... was simply beyond words. And Russ was almost choking with laughter at this point.
